Unpack all the new game modes, rewards, and challenges in Dress To Impress’s summer update. Master the changes before the quest drops.

Summer has arrived in Dress To Impress, and the latest update brings more than just warm weather and mermaid looks. With new game modes, cosmetic rewards, and updated mechanics, the 2025 Summer Update changes how players compete and customize.
From revamped Style Showdown challenges to a new seasonal currency, this update packs in fresh content designed to shake up your usual fashion routine. Here’s everything you need to know.
Dress To Impress Summer Update 2025
The Dress To Impress Summer Update 2025 includes many practical changes and additions that affect gameplay, progression, and rewards. However, the developers have removed voting penalties on all servers except the Master server. Now, players are free to enter matches without worrying about hefty deductions. Furthermore, the game now includes an accessory and adjustment gizmo, allowing players more control over their outfit customizations and fine detailing.

Progression has also been adjusted. Players above level 10 now receive double Baddie Pass XP, making it faster to unlock rewards. On top of that, participating in Style Showdown rounds now grants Baddie Pass progress directly, making regular play more rewarding. A new item, Charlie’s Wings, has also been added to the cosmetic rotation.
One of the biggest additions is the set of Seasonal Style Showdown challenges. These challenges bring new game mechanics that test timing, memory, and creativity:
- Red Light, Green Light: Players must stop moving when the light turns red while designing. If players move during the red light, the game stuns them and they lose time.
- Out for Lunch: Some customization options like nails, hair, and makeup are locked out, simulating a scenario where the salon is closed. Players must work with limited tools.
- Desaturate: The screen gradually loses color, turning black and white. You won’t see the actual colors of the items or your edits, so you’ll need to rely on memory and intuition.
- Mystery Theme: The round begins with a scrambled theme title. It slowly reveals itself during the round, forcing players to identify the theme early if they want time to prepare an outfit.
Seashells are the new seasonal currency, and players can now earn them without relying solely on the Baddie Pass. By competing in 10 Style Showdown rounds, you instantly unlock 300 Seashells. You can also earn EXP from Showdown rounds and trade that for Seashells to get exclusive clothing items.
