How To Get the Auto Shop in GTA Online
You can purchase multiple Auto Shops in GTA Online. Here are all the locations and the price of the property:
- Mission Row – $1,670,000
- Strawberry – $1,705,000
- Rancho – $1,750,000
- Burton – $1,830,000
- La Mesa – $1,920,000
Once you purchase a property in the game, you can start customizing the interior of the property. Keep in mind that owning an auto shop will incur a daily fee of $250 in-game cash.

Keep in mind that the customizations on the list do not affect the business in any way—they are cosmetics. This means you don’t necessarily need to buy any of the customization options. The only exceptions are the Staff hiring and possibly, a car lift which doubles the amount of cars that be repaired.
Business Options of Auto Shop in GTA Online
Owning an Auto Shop in GTA Online allows you to have the following business options:
Legitimate Repair Business
One of the rare instances where you can do something legal. Occasionally, you will be tasked with repairing and modifying cars from customers. After repairing them, you’ll have to deliver them back to the owners. However, if you have extra staff members, you can have them drive the car back to the customers.
You can also buy a customer’s car if you want. The price will depend on the type of vehicle and the customizations made.
Contract Missions
You can do contract missions in Auto Shops in GTA Online. These missions are placed on the job board inside the property. They work like heists that feature preparation time before the grand finale. Here is a list of all the missions you can do:
- The Agency Contract
- The Data Contract
- The ECU Contract
- The Superdollar Contract
- The Prison Contract
- The Bank Contract
Up to three contracts are available at once. The list gets updated frequently so you don’t have to do contract missions that you don’t like.
Exotic Exports
Aside from the job board, you can also find an import/export Board inside the Auto Shop in GTA Online. Up to 10 vehicles that need to be stolen and delivered to a port for rewards. Accepting this mission will mark one of the vehicles on the map.

Investing in an Auto Shop business in GTA Online is worth it. The initial investment is relatively modest, comparable to ventures like the Acid Lab gig.
