The community stumbled upon a glitch that unintentionally allowed them to access the McKenzie Field Hangar in GTA Online.
GTA Online’s next content featuring Oscar and purchasing the McKenzie Field Hangar has been unintentionally teased to fans through a supposed glitch in the game. Discussions in the community emerged after one player reportedly received a call from Oscar Guzman, offering him a chance to purchase the hangar in the game.
Leaks about the purchasable hangar have been a topic of discussion for quite some time in the GTA Online community. However, players were not expecting to get an unintentional teaser of the new McKenzie Field Hangar content in GTA Online. It’s also not the first time that several other pieces of content were unintentionally accessible even before they were officially available in the game.
McKenzie Field Hangar Update Reportedly Accessible Before Its Release in GTA Online
The leaked content was reportedly encountered by Reddit user IxN0xM3RCYxI. According to the user, he unintentionally received a call from Oscar, one of the characters tied to Trevor’s gun-running operation in GTA V, about an offer to purchase the McKenzie Field Hangar in GTA Online.
While he was able to purchase the McKenzie Field Hangar property, there was nothing he could do with it as he couldn’t access the laptop inside to do missions. Once he left the property, it disappeared along with the $1.4 million in-game cash he paid to buy it. Interestingly, the user claimed he still had Oscar’s phone number in the game and posted screenshots as proof.
According to user comments on the post, this is not the first time future content has been unintentionally accessible in GTA Online. Some comments claim they got a call from Vincent, the NPC relevant to the Cluckin Bell Raid missions, even before the release of the said content.
Other comments claim that winter-themed events like The Gooch are still active for some people. This event basically ambushes the player and steals their cash and snacks. They need to take down The Gooch to retrieve the stolen items along with extra rewards. The event was set to end on January 3, 2025.
Rockstar Games is yet to announce the release date of the McKenzie Field Hangar in GTA Online. Several insiders have shared what to expect when the new content arrives. However, considering how players reportedly were able to access the content before its release, the game files are probably already in place. Players will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
