1) Hawkeye

Just give him a good vantage point, and he’ll snipe the hell out of enemies. Even if someone tries to dive him, Hawkeye’s agility and melee attacks can eliminate the opponent before they even realize it.

2) Hela
Hela is another hitscan character from Marvel Rivals, a perfect counter for a brawler-type vanguard. Just like Hawkeye, she also excels when shooting from afar; however, there is a significant damage falloff, so we recommend using her from a medium range. Her Astral Flock ability helps in aerial movement, and when blended with the Soul Drainer ability, she can disintegrate anyone on the battlefield.
3) Punisher
Even The Thing cannot counter the one-man army. Punisher uses different kinds of guns to eliminate opponents. He is best when used at a medium range, and his turret can kill The Thing itself. Moreover, his ultimate, Final Judgment, can even kill Luna Snow in her ultimate, so melting rock is just a piece of cake for him. If this was not enough, Punisher has a hook that helps him get into very good vantage positions to gun down enemies.

4) Iron Man
A hero equipped with the latest nanotechnology and specializing in melting vanguards, Iron Man is the perfect counter for vanguards, but he works very well against The Thing. 5) Wolverine
