The First Berserker Khazan is easily the most content-rich souls-like game out there. In terms of the amount of content the game has to offer, outside of the gear grinding and New Game+, The First Berserker goes toe-to-toe with the likes of Nioh 2, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and even Elden Ring. Furthermore, the game also encourages replayability, whether through dedicated trophies or the multiple endings it has to offer.

While the game’s main story is roughly on the same scale as Sekiro or Nioh, it also features a ton of optional content, which can easily keep you engaged for hundreds of hours. The game also features a robust build-crafting system, which adds to its overall playtime.

Here’s everything you need to know about The First Berserker Khazan’s runtime and how long it will take to beat the game on a normal playthrough.

For a regular playthrough, The First Berserker Khazan takes roughly 60-70 hours. If you don’t spend too much time grinding for better gear and weapons, you can technically finish the game in 50 hours. However, the game actively encourages replaying levels for better loot and progression-related items. Note that the difficulty presets do not impact the game’s overall completion time.

On both Easy and Normal presets, the game takes roughly the same amount of time to reach the credits. In addition, The First Berserker Khazan features multiple endings (with trophies) and New Game+ modes, which encourage replayability.

For a completionist playthrough, i.e., going through all the side content and the main story quests, it will take roughly 80-90 hours. The game also features a robust build-crafting system, which actively encourages replaying levels and boss fights for better loot. The grinding aspect of The First Berserker is very similar to games like Nioh and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. As such, if you plan to min-max your builds before completing the main story, it will add a few more hours to the game’s overall completion time.

To summarize, here are the completion times for The First Berserker Khazan:

  • Regular playthrough (Normal/ Easy difficulty): 70-80 hours.
  • Completionist playthrough: 80-100 hours.
  • All trophies and New Game+: 100-150 hours.

Does The First Berserker Khazan Have an Endgame?

Much like other souls-likes, the endgame in The First Berserker Khazan is essentially New Game+. However, before you jump into NG+, you can choose to stay in the base game and replay missions to get better gear. Much like Elden Ring or Nioh, The First Berserker doesn’t force you into New Game+ after finishing the main campaign. Instead, you’re free to replay missions and boss fights after the credits.
