Born on January 7, 2005, Cody “Clix” Conrod is among the most popular figures in the livestreaming industry. He’s not only a well-known content creator but also a professional gamer, having previously played Fortnite for Misfits Gaming and NRG. Clix is currently 19 years old.

Clix is also affiliated with XSET as co-owner of the professional gaming and lifestyle brand. The Connecticut native launched his Twitch channel in June 2018 and has since amassed an impressive 7,831,612 followers. Cody has spent over 7.3k hours playing the Epic Games-developed battle royale. Additionally, he has played Grand Theft Auto 5, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Among Us on his channel.

Clix’s Ban From Fortnite

In April 2023, Clix shocked the online community by revealing that his official Fortnite account had been suspended for two weeks. Epic Games apparently took this action because the streamer was “teaming up with a competitor.”

Cody was also informed that the temporary ban could be extended to a permanent suspension “depending on the severity of the prohibited activity.”

According to the content creator, a player who “hated” him “purposefully” got him banned from Fortnite:

“This guy, in his bio, is, ‘Number 1 Clix hater.’ He purposely did this, to get me banned. He purposely did all this. Literally, in his bio, chat! It literally says, like, ‘Number 1 Clix hater.’ Like, I’m not even trolling! He literally tweeted, like, all this stuff. Like, I’m not even trolling.”

The Streamer’s Feud With Jynxzi

Cody became embroiled in a major feud with Twitch streamer Nicholas “Jynxzi” in early 2024.

It all started on March 27, when Jynxzi lost $10,000 to Clix in a Rainbow Six Siege wager. To commemorate the occasion, Clix shared an old photo of himself alongside Jynxzi’s girlfriend, Breckie Hill.

Jynxzi was upset by Cody’s actions, accusing him of “clip farming” to increase engagement and impressions on social media:

“Clix is clip farming, that’s it. Bro, I’m all for a good clip farm, you guys know that, bro. But, like, that type of clip farm – that’s like next level. That’s like, ‘Hey, I need clout tonight!’ That’s like, ‘I need clout within the next five minutes!'”

Clix eventually responded, denying the claims made by the Spacestation Gaming-affiliated personality:

“It’s not about the f**king clips! I don’t give a f**k if it goes viral on TikTok! Why are you making this about views? No, no, you’re pissing me the f**k off now, bro! I thought you were going to look at that and just laugh at it, and be like, ‘Wow, bro!’ I didn’t think you would actually get mad over this s**t, bro.”

The drama between the two continued, with Jynxzi unfollowing Cody on all social media platforms.
