A lion’s share of the video’s content was dismissed as false, and people started saying that Dream was “a pedophile, a groomer, a “kiddy diddler,” or exclusively attracted to girls under sixteen.”

He also got a lot of backlash for creating fake instant messaging screenshots from XQc and Pokimane to show s proof that screenshots are not a reliable source of information. This did not go as planned and other creators thought that he was slandering them as most of the people did not watch the video or understand the context.

However, YouTubers like AugustTheDuck and Turkey Tom also proved their innocence through the video’s content and available evidence. He also got a lot of support from other people, some who were not even fans of Dream.
