Jack Doherty is a former Kick streamer who often hosts Just Chatting and IRL streams, where he engages in challenges, partakes in various activities in and around his house, and takes his viewers along in his daily tasks. His content often showcases his luxurious living, with him showcasing his various sportscars and even purchasing houses in his videos.
Before being permanently banned from Kick, Jack Doherty had over 185,000 followers on Kick. As of writing, Jack Doherty has 2.7 million followers on his Instagram account and over 10 million followers on TikTok.
Doherty often appears alongside his girlfriend, McKinley Richardson, an Instagram influencer and model who has 1.6 million followers on the platform. She and Doherty have been dating since at least August 2023, when they first appeared on social media together. Since then, the two often collaborate together for live broadcasts, YouTube videos, and social media posts.

Jack Doherty recently found himself in hot water after crashing his McLaren. The streamer was driving in the rain using only his left hand while using his right hand to hold his phone. Notably, he had been accompanied by his cameraman, Michael, who was sitting next to him in the passenger seat.
A clip of the moments preceding the incident clearly shows him being distracted by his phone. Soon after, the streamer lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the roadside guardrails. Other clips emerged of the incident’s immediate aftermath, which showcase Doherty asking passersby for help. Soon after, the passerby broke his side’s car window and pulled him out of the vehicle, which had been totaled.
Immediately after his rescue, he focused on the damage done to his car and did not prioritize taking note of his passenger’s condition. After assessing the extent of the damage, the streamer went around to take a look at his cameraperson, only to find him bleeding from his temple. In a later video uploaded by Jack Doherty, the cameraperson received stitches for his injuries.
This behaviour by Doherty invited criticism from netizens online as well as other stars within the streaming community, including Félix “xQc,” who claimed that Doherty deserved the “hate” he had been receiving online on the matter.
Discussing the matter during a Twitch broadcast, xQc had said:
“Bro, he almost killed his buddy… That is like diabolical. Driving in the rain and looking at your phone, doing some weird acceleration stunt or some sh** like that. Then not caring about your boy you almost killed. That’s braindead… Chat, I think the hate on creators is ninety percent of the time unwarranted, okay? I think the hate on this guy is like one hundred and extra warranted. Like, I don’t think this guy gets hated enough, I’m not kidding.”
