Building your dream team in UFL is all about control. No luck, no randomized packs, no frustration. This flips the script with a direct, straightforward transfer system. You don’t roll dice to get the players you need. Instead, you choose them. Yes, you’re in charge here. It’s not just about buying new players.
Selling and managing your squad adds a layer of strategy. Every decision counts. Your credits and reputation shape your squad’s future. It’s a grind, but it’s rewarding. Whether you want superstars or hidden gems, the process is in your hands.
How To Buy Players in UFL
To start buying players, head to the Transfer Market from the main menu. Once there, select the Transfers option. This will display a list of all available players, sorted by price and rating. It’s easy to find exactly who you’re looking for. Use filters to refine your search by position or rating, or type a specific name into the search bar.
Once you’ve found the perfect player, check their Credit Points (CP) cost. If you’re ready, hold Square (PS) or X (Xbox) to confirm the purchase. The player will now join your Reserves section. To add them to your squad, navigate to your main team, locate the new recruit in Reserves, and swap them with an active player.
Remember, CP is earned by playing matches in Ranked Mode, completing challenges, or purchasing it with real money from the store. However, buying players isn’t just about CP. You also need Reputation Points (RP). Each player has an RP cost that reduces your overall club’s RP allowance. Balancing CP and RP ensures your squad stays competitive and manageable.
How To Sell Players in UFL
Selling players is just as simple, though it works a little differently. Instead of heading back to the Transfer Market, navigate to the Squad screen. This is where you’ll manage all your players, including those in Reserves.
Once on the Squad screen, select the player you want to sell. Use the Player Wheel to access their management options. Here, you’ll find the Sell Player option. Selecting this will show you the CP amount you’ll receive for the sale. Be careful, though—selling is permanent. If you ever want the player back, you’ll need to repurchase them at full price.
With no player-to-player trading or fluctuating markets, every player has a fixed CP value. This keeps the system fair and straightforward but removes some of the dynamic elements of traditional transfer markets.
