Let’s discuss building a Pal Dressing Facility and changing Pal skins of Pals in your party and the Pal Box in Palworld.
Palworld offers extensive levels of player customization and freedom, which extends beyond your character and to the Pals themselves, too. You can dress up your pals as you see fit, customizing their appearance, cosmetics, and Pal skin to match your vibe.
The game, however, does a poor job of telling you how to do so. If you want to change your trusted Pal’s skin in Palworld and don’t know how to go about it, our guide should have you covered. In this guide, we shall go over how to change Pal skins in Palworld.
How To Change Pal Skins
Build a Pal Dressing Facility
Before you get to changing your Pal Skins, you will first require a Pal Dressing Facility. The Pal Dressing Facility is unlocked at Level 1, so you can access it right from the start. Follow the steps below to build the facility:
- Open up the in-game menu and head to the ‘Technology’ tab.
- Head to the section tied to Level 1 unlocks. You may have to scroll all the way up if your character is at a high level.
- Click on ‘Pal Dressing Facility’ under ‘Structure’ to check if you have the sufficient quantity of materials needed for construction. You will require 10x Stone and 10x Paldium Fragment.
- Open up the construction wheel and place the Pal Dressing Facility at a spot of your choice. Press LMB to place and hold F to build the facility.
Changing the Pal Skins
Once the Pal Dressing Facility has been constructed, follow the steps below to change your Pal skins.
- Head to the Pal Dressing Facility and press F to interact with it.
- This will bring up the Pal Dressing Facility menu. Under this menu, select the species of Pal whose skin you wish to change.
- Doing so will bring up a list of skins you have available for selected species. Select the skin of your choice by clicking on it.
- You will then see a list of Pals. Select the Pal you wish to apply the skin on. You can choose to apply the skin on an individual Pal of your choice or all Pals of that species.
- The game will display a confirmation message to confirm the action. Click on ‘Confirm’ if you wish to apply the skin or ‘Cancel’ if you wish to go back and select another.
The game lets you change the skins of not only the Pals in your party but also of those stored in the Pal Box.
