You can change the time of day in Infinity Nikki by using the ‘Run, Pear-Pal’ device and playing through a small minigame.
The world of Miraland in Infinity Nikki is a gorgeous, lived-in world with something always happening around the corner. There are quests to engage in, rewards to unlock, and secrets to find in the sprawling open world of the game. Some of these quests and secrets, however, are tied to the time of day in the game. Some quests can only be taken at night or during the day, making changing time an essential feature.
While the game does give you a brief look into how to do so when you’re starting out, by the time you run into the first quest where you need the feature, it will be long forgotten. This is probably why you’re here reading this, so don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. In this guide, we shall go over how to change time in Infinity Nikki.
Changing Time of Day
You can change the time of day in Infinity Nikki by accessing the ‘Run, Pear-Pal’ device from the menu. You unlock this device by interacting with Dada and completing the ‘Land of Wishes’ main story quest in Florawish.
Once you’ve unlocked the device, head to the menu and click on the ‘Run, Pear-Pal’ option. This option may be on the second page of the menu if you have too many devices unlocked, so just change the tab to access the device.
Clicking on the ‘Run, Pear-Pal’ option will pop up a new screen with a giant dial at the center. Along the circumference of this massive dial, you can see and pick between five different time options. These include Day, Dusk, Night, Sunup, and Dawn. You can rotate the giant dial to your liking and align it with the time of day you wish to set. You will then have to play through a minigame.
How To Play the Minigame
Selecting your desired time of day will kick off a small minigame. The minigame, while just a glorified loading screen, is reminiscent of the likes of Flappy Bird mixed with some Super Mario Bros. You have to run across the wide field with obstacles along the way. You can jump over obstacles or pass under them. Hitting an obstacle is an instant game over, and it would end the minigame. You will then see your high score, and the game will proceed to take you to your desired time of day.
