Nameplate and Title are two more areas where players can customize their Marvel Rivals experience. Unlike some cosmetic changes to the game (especially the ones that come through Hero Progression), these two changes are visible for everyone to see.

Random players will be able to see your Title and Nameplate in the lobby, and so will your friends.

At the top right corner of your  Home Screen, you will find the Profile icon there. It briefly shows the Level that you are currently at. Click on it and it should take you to the screen with your Career Overview.

Switch tabs until you arrive at Customize. From here, you can change your Nameplate right away. If you look carefully, you can also switch over to the Title section to change that as well.

However, not all of these will be readily unlocked. But don’t worry. We are here to help you figure that out as well.

Unlocking Nameplates and Titles in Marvel Rivals

The only Nameplate that you get at the beginning of the game is the default Rivals one. As for the Title, you get none! You have to unlock each one separately to make yourself feel like you have earned them!

The VEN#m Nameplate is readily available for all PlayStation players to claim for free as part of the S0 Bundle. There are many cosmetic rewards in that bundle, including the Nameplate. As for the rest, players will have to buy them using Units. You can either buy Units using real-world money or earn them by completing the Event challenges. But the only way to get the Nameplates is to buy them in any way.

Titles, however, are only given to you when you complete certain Achievements. Select each Title in Marvel Rivals and see what Achievement needs to be earned to get it. Now, go to the Achievements tab next to Customize and search for that particular one. Once you spot it, note what needs to be done and start working on it! Before you know it, you will have unlocked a cool title to boast about in the lobbies.
