What does the first Black Ops 6 Campaign mission hold for us? Check out everything related to the Bishop Takes Rook mission.
Black Ops 6 kicks off with a brief introduction of the characters in the game and a video package hallmark of the Black Ops series followed by a heated argument. Frank Woods, Troy Marshall, and Jane Harrow are all sitting in an interrogation room while Daniel Livingstone asks questions.
Troy Marshall and Jane Harrow were on a mission with William “Case” Calderon (the playable character) when things went south. So, Troy Marshall explains why the situation turned out the way they did. The mission begins with this flashback memory of when they had to extract a high value target.
Bishop Takes Rook Walkthrough Explored
Marshall and Harrow signal a friendly fighter bird to drop a bomb on a convoy headed down the road. The ambush is successful and Case, along with the duo, heads to location zero in no time with the help of their open roof 4×4.
The main objective is to then locate Alawi. After a brief shootout, you see a crashed black truck and the game prompts you to open its left backdoor. As you do, Alawi will jump at you only to get humbled by Jane Harrow.
A short cutscene later, players get control of the character again, but this time around, they have to face the Pantheon forces. This is when you get introduced to a new weapon wheel mechanic.
Defeat the forces and fight your way to the start of a small canyon. Make your way through it by eliminating incoming enemies. In the end, you meet up with none other than Russell Adler. What happens next is for you to discover on your own!
A Pantheon chopper will pursue you. Case will pick up the nearby rocket launcher. Aim at the helicopter, make the little box over it, and shoot right when it turns green. You will eventually beat the level after this action-packed scene.
Rewards, Secrets, and Challenges in Bishop Takes Rook
The devs, as usual, have kept some challenges intentionally hidden for players to accidentally discover and complete. During the Bishop Takes Rook mission in Black Ops 6, you can use the RC-XD to kill 3 enemies. This will complete the RCXD-angerous challenge.
Launch your RC whenever you see three enemies clustered together behind a cover or otherwise. The reward for completion is an exclusive Spray to use in the multiplayer mode.
The mission has no ‘secrets’ because it is the smallest mission in the campaign and is pretty straightforward in that regard.
