No need to sweat over the Liberty Falls Easter Egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies anymore! We have the guide you need right here.
Call of Duty Zombies fans have been eagerly waiting for the Black Ops 6 version. The game mode is still the same ‘wave shooter’ as before, but there is an Easter Egg in the form of a ‘main quest’ that you may want to check out.
The Liberty Falls Easter Egg will present you with a list of tasks, which you can complete to get some exclusive rewards. There is no compulsion for players to bring in a squad to complete this mode. However, we highly recommend completing this in co-op to make things easy for yourself.
First and foremost, open the Liberty Falls map and unlock Pack-A-Punch. Then, head straight for the Church to interact with the Dark Aether. After a hearty conversation, interact with the machine once more, and Panos will now have been patched into your system. This is where things really start off.
Black Ops 6 Liberty Falls Easter Egg Complete Walkthrough
Gathering the First Part
As soon as you wrap up the shenanigans in the church, make your way to Hill Street near the flower shop called Lily’s Flowerpot. Don’t go in. Look at the right side of the bloody, torn door and you will spot a tap. Pick up the water valve from there when met with a prompt.
Head over to Liberty Lanes (the bowling alley) and you will find an electric panel on the wall right next to the right-most bowling lane. Interact and fix the valve there.
Water pressure will start building up. You have to hold the interact button to let it reach the maximum level before bursting. Don’t worry. You won’t get hurt in the process. However, the zombies won’t let you do this in peace. Either kill everyone in the vicinity, or let your friends take care of them. That said, you can pick up from almost the same level of progress even if you abandon the task in between to defend yourself or your gang.
Once done, it will burst out to give you a water pressure gauge. Pick it up, as you will need it for the infamous jet gun.
Heading for the Second Part
After this, head over to the cemetery in the city. You will find a zombie wearing overalls. It will be named as the “Groundkeeper“. Kill it, and it will drop a key. You will spot a shed next to the right wall of the cemetery. Use the key to enter and grab the Handbrake. This is your second item for the jet gun.
Where is the Last Part Hiding?
Now, all you need is a Mangler Gun to finish your hunt for parts. Either kill a Mangler by targeting its hand canon or craft the said gun on a workbench. We prefer to keep things free of cost because you never know when you might need all that money desperately.
Once you have it, use the Mangler Cannon on the Radio House in Riverside to break open the front gate. Go inside and interact with electrical piles to gather the electrical wires part. Beware of the vermin that may be hiding beneath some of the piles.
Now head over to the motel to craft the real deal.
Crafting and Using the Jet Gun
When you head to the motel, climb the stairs to reach the first floor. A bunch of zombies will burst out of a room. Kill or lead away all of them because you need to get inside. Once you have occupied the area safely, use the workbench to craft the Jet Gun.
Now, you need to head to three locations with this Jet Gun in your inventory. Go to Ollie’s Comics and look at the big hole in the ceiling in the middle of the store. Suck in the big part floating inside.
Go to a rooftop near Speed Cola and jump atop the white truck on the street. Aim your big friend at the window in front of the truck and suck in another big part.
Head back to the church and look up the broken balcony for the third part. There will be a floating part waiting for you to gather using the Jet Gun again.
Climb the bank rooftop now and head to the workbench there to craft the LTG.
Acquiring Your First HVT
Wherever the lightning storm appears, go to that location and interact with the storm prompt. This will allow you to put the LTG down and zombies will keep coming for 60 seconds.
Kill them before they get sucked into the portal or it will damage your device and shut it down. Upon completion, the portal will throw out an HVT or High Value Target. This is an elite zombie of any type. Weaken the boss until it radiates purple smoke. Do not kill it!
Enter the Dark Aether in the church and pick up the aether canister besides on the machine. Bring it back and place it on the Dark Aether trap anywhere. There is one near Speed Cola too. Note that you won’t be able to sprint after picking up the canister.
Trigger the trap by accessing the closest Dark Aether Field Generator. Just follow the wire connected to the trap and it will lead you right to it. Lure the HVT in the purple zone to suck out its soul into the canister.
Pick it up whenever ready and make a dash to the church. You will have 1 minute 30 seconds to interact with the machine in the church. Doing so will drop a Strauss Counter.
What to Do With the Projectors?
The signal will help you locate the projects. When near, Interact with the projectors to match the color on the Strauss counter. One is near the hilltop stairs. There will be two more projectors. One in the groundskeeper yard and one on the bank rooftop. Repeat the process with those as well.
One of them might also require you to change the color to opposite. You can distinguish such a projector by noticing whether it shows the shade of some other color as well.
One More HTV Soul
You need to repeat the steps you carried out the first time around. Collect your LTG again from where you last placed it and head to the next Dark Aether lightning storm. Install the LTG here and kill all the zombies for 60-seconds. Don’t let them too close to the device. Upon completion, another elite zombie will appear. Weaken this HTV, and follow the same steps to take its soul in the canister.
Again, you have 1:30 minutes to take it back to the church. This will kick off the final section of the game where you need to lock in and fight zombies till your last breath.
Final Phase of the Liberty Falls Easter Egg
There will be a long dialogue which will mark the beginning of the last phase. Gather all the perks and weapons you feel confident with and the church will close off. The ensued lockdown will now spawn three waves of zombies which increasingly get harder to deal with.
Once you defeat all of them, the machine will collect all the souls. There will be one more cutscene that we won’t spoil for you. Players will then have a choice to either leave the game or continue. Both of these will have different rewards.
