The Most Wanted mission in Black Ops 6 campaign has a pretty open-ended start. Check out this walkthrough to not get confused.
Russell Adler became the Most Wanted American ‘traitor’ as soon as the Black Ops 6 campaign kicked off. As a result, you and your rogue CIA team have to break him out of the Blacksite beneath the Capitol Station. To make things more complicated, there is a political event taking place in that building the same day when your team decides to breach it.
Don’t worry though, for you are now undercover as a journalist named ‘Jess Burke’ and have three options to handle one section of your mission while maintaining complete stealth.
Senator Jack McKenna, who will be at the event, has security clearance to the Blacksite and you need a high-res picture of his eyes to get past the retinal scanner. You start the mission outside the Capitol Station. Make your way in, and Sevati will brief you on three opportunities. All three of them are drastically different from the others.
Most Wanted Mission Walkthrough Explored
Mystery Man
One of the leads is that a mystery man slipped a note to McKenna upon his entry. The Senator looked at it and put it in his coat pocket. Sev also heard the man say that he was looking forward to their private meeting later that evening.
Sneak your way in from behind the curtains into the place where all the coats are hanging. Find McKenna’s coat to access the note. Don’t worry. Sev will distract the valet there to help you.
This will reveal that the mystery man is Lee Grisham, ex-Navy, who is currently the head of security for Aldrain Energy. Find him. Follow him to an isolated location and put him down to take his pager. Due to his background, he will put up a fight, but you can deal with it.
It will lead you to the back of a nearby diner where McKenna’s bodyguards ambush you. Beat them and the Senator to finally take a picture of his face for your mission.
Covert Affair
Exploit Mr. and Mrs. McKenna’s interpersonal relationship for your personal gain. His wife will give you a mission to keep an eye on his personal aide. Do it, and you will discover that she is looking to blackmail him using an explicit videotape that you now have to recover. The game will guide you to it.
Upon doing so, report back to McKenna’s wife. She will ask you to keep the young aide busy. Your deal with her is that you hand her the evidence of her husband’s foolishness, and you walk with a retinal scan without much violence.
Although things don’t end well for the aide, you now have a shot at saving Adler.
Highest Bidder
Jack McKenna is also the “most wanted” on somebody’s list. Talk to Armato, the fixer for several New York crime families. He is there to even things out with the Senator. Strike a mutual deal by stealing a clock from the auction. Enter the hall, and it will be right at the end. Sneak behind curtains to find a keypad on that clock. Enter the correct code using your blacklight and report back to Armato.
He has fixed a meeting for you in a nearby pub. Head to the location undetected, and his goons will be beating McKenna up. No need to interfere. Just get that picture you wanted and leave the scene.
Rescuing Russell Adler
No matter which path you choose, it will lead you to the same next phases. Head to the roof of the building and sneak past the police. Don’t hurt them. Enter the room you were supposed to, and you will be immediately ambushed. Don’t do anything. Troy Marshall and Sevati Dumas will be there to rescue you. Make your way to the Blacksite where Pantheon has already served a massacre on a platter.
You can either go guns blazing or be quiet. Don’t worry about the hostages that much because you can’t ‘rescue’ them anyway. You will find a conference room littered with enemies. Try infiltrating it from the upper floor to be safe. Reach the desired location which will be blocked. Unlock the door on your left using your blacklight skills.
You will eventually meet a dead end where you need to launch a small RC, which will help you get to Adler easily. This is not where things end though. You will head back out the same way only to find that there is no exit plan. Adler and Marshall then get on motorcycles with you in the backseat. Enjoy this action-packed sequence!
Challenges, Secrets, and Rewards in Most Wanted
The only challenge that devs listed on the evidence board for you is Retina Ready, which requires to acquire the Senator’s Retinal Scan in all three ways. You can’t do this in one run. So, feel free to replay the mission thrice. This will reward you with a Finishing Move in the multiplayer mode.
There is a secret safe waiting for you in the Gala. Try doing this when you are still doing the stealth section rather than doing it in the escape section of the mission. Get inside the red and golden curtains in the back of the bar. Head in, turn right, and go into the open area. There will be a safe around here. Tune into the radio nearby and enter the broadcast codes in the safe to make the easiest 1000 bucks in the mission.
