Sister Lidwin appears in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 during Arabella’s questline. Arabella is a tiefling players first meet in Act 1 of the game when she is in hot water for stealing an idol from a druid. If you rescue her, you can advance the quest and meet her again in Act 2.

As part of the storyline, Arabella requests you to find her parents in the Shadow-Cursed lands in Act 2.

Find Arabella’s Parents Quest

You have to bail Arabella out of trouble in Act 2 since she was up to mischief again. She will then ask you to look for her parents. Accept her request and let her into your camp. Now, you must head to the House of Healing near the Grand Mausoleum, which is northwest of where you meet Arabella.

To enter the building, walk along the sides past a tree and find the passage onto the roof. You can then enter through a window. Now, navigate the upper areas on the south and drop down the ladder at the end.

Walk through the door ahead on the bottom floor, and you will find Sister Lidwin dealing with patients. Interact with her, and you will notice that she is working on a pair of corpses. A member of your party will identify these corpses as Arabella’s parents.

Convince Lidwin That Her Patients Are Alive

Sister Lidwin refuses to label the bodies as corpses, claiming that they are patients who are alive and “merely medicated”. However, her voice betrays her fears. Letters lying nearby suggest what life was like for Lidwin; she deeply cared for her patients and valued life.

If you ask her why she’s treating a dead body, she gets defensive. To turn her beliefs into the “truth”, you can use Sleight of Hand and give one of the corpses a subtle poke. The Sister will then believe that the body moved on its own and is indeed alive, which will put her at ease. Alternatively, you can lie to her using Deception. Tell her that you believe the patients are in a state of deep sleep and commend her for her job.

Once the conversation is over, you can head back to Arabella and inform her of her parents’ fate.
