Find out the easiest way to defeat Zorba in Metaphor ReFantazio instead of getting frustrated by continuous restarts.
Zorba is one of the many bosses you will face during your journey through the United Kingdom of Euchronia in Metaphor ReFantazio. Moreover, like every other significant foe, he can be a pain to deal with, but not when you have a guide with you to help!
Zorba’s stature might not be as intimidating compared to some of the other enemies that you will face in the game. However, his Necromancing puts him on par with a lot of characters in the rogue gallery. That’s right. He can summon and control the dead during the battle.
You will be fit to battle Zorba once you reach Level 12 in the game and start the Necromancer Takedown quest. He will be waiting for you at the Regalith Grand Cathedral. Let’s take a closer look at how you should prepare to put an end to the scepter holder.
Putting Zorba to Sleep Once and for All
The Necromancer Takedown quest will bring you to the Cathedral when you are ready. However, don’t feel compelled to rush in if you aren’t prepared. To ace the battle, you can select the characters, Archetypes, and skills we suggest. It is a combination of these that will help you achieve victory.
Selecting the Right Warriors
The devil is in the details. Select the Protagonist, Strohl, and Hulkenberg for the fight that is about to happen. You also need to assign them Healer, Warrior, and Knight Archetypes, respectively. We usually suggest taking a Mage in most fights but that won’t work here. Zorba is resistant to Fire, Ice, Wind, and Electric attacks. So, your party will have to rely on physical attacks to make quick work of the necromancer in question. The suggested Archetypes all have skills that will help in dealing with and countering the situations that you face.
The Main Strategy
What you would want to do is pay attention to the skills that each of your Archetype carries onto the battlefield. The main skills we will need are Hama, Medi, Jump Thrust, and Round Slash.
Your Healer Protagonist can use Hama against the Corpsethrall that Zorba will summon. His undead friend is not going to like this magic spell at all. Secondly, remember to use the Jump Thrust Synthesis Skill from the Knight Archetype, as it will lower the big boss’ defense for three coming turns. On top of it all, it will also deal massive damage. As for the Warrior, the Round Slash will be an effective way to deal significant damage to Zorba.
In the end, don’t forget to use Medi to heal all your friends in the battle. No matter how much damage you are dealing to your enemies, you still have to take care of those who are risking their virtual lives for your fight.
What Is the End Result?
Just like that, you will have defeated the boss you were probably afraid of at first glance. Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for all the effort. The reward for your courage, dedication, and skills will be:
- 500 EXP
- 300 A-EXP
- 2000 MAG
- 2500 Reeve
Zorba isn’t the only boss left in the game, so you will have plenty of chances to prove yourself a worthy warrior. If you find yourself stuck on any other fight that you need guidance on, you know where to look.
