There are two primary ways to deplete your enemy’s Fortitude:

Both methods to deplete an enemy’s Fortitude revolve around combat. As such, you do not need to take any additional action for this. As you keep hitting an opponent, their Fortitude will automatically break and lower. If you use counter-attacks or use any special Battle Arts, you will be able to take a chunk out of their Fortitude meter. Once an enemy’s Fortitude is completely depleted, you will be able to Assault them. Assault is like a massive finisher move; it will deal a huge amount of damage to an enemy.
Keep an eye on your Bravery Points and use them wisely to launch counter attacks with Battle Arts. The stronger the Battle Arts, the more Bravery it will consume, and the more Fortitude it will lower in Dynasty Warriors Origins.
