Decoration farming becomes increasingly important in Monster Hunter Wilds as you progress through the game. These items help players improve their armor and weapons. While equipping Decorations is easy, the concept itself can be slightly complicated at first. Basically, all Decorations are divided into three levels based on their size and the number beside the item’s name. Similarly, the Decoration slot on your equipment is also divided into three slots. Players are required to fit a high-level Decoration in a corresponding slot only. However, lower-level Decoration items can fit in higher-level Decoration slots easily.

Monster Hunter Wilds Lets You Farm Decorations

Usually, you would think of replaying your Investigation missions. But if you didn’t know this already, using the Melding Pot will be just as effective in farming Decorations. However, there is not just one way of using the Melding Pot to farm your desired items.

Wyverian Melding

The Wyverian Melding feature at the Melding Pot can help you achieve your goal. The primary material needed here will be the Gold Melding Tickets. Usually, players can obtain these tickets through trading or by recycling other Decorations that they don’t use. Another way of obtaining the tickets is by exchanging Nightflower Pollen for them. To obtain this pollen, go to the Ephemeral Blossoms during a full moon.

When you have possession of sufficient materials, you can easily choose Ancient OrbSword and Ancient OrbArmor to farm for decorations. This will cost you 120 and 60 points, respectively.

Another method in the Melding Pot is by using the regular Meld Decorations option. However, it is not as useful as the above-mentioned Wyverian Melding method.

Investigations

Tempered monster investigations at 7-star difficulty or higher is the best way to farm Hunter Symbol 3 in Monster Hunter Wilds.

As we mentioned above, Investigations are one of the best ways to obtain Decorations in Monster Hunter Wilds. Farming them using Investigation quests is a whole other story, though. Simply put, it’s not an easy task. So, check the rewards an Investigation quest will drop upon completion. If it has a Decoration item on the list, you can take it up. Similarly, repeat and juggle between these quests to farm Decorations properly using this method.

Kindly note that Tempered Investigations, in our experience, are less likely to reward players with Decorations.
