While it might not look like it, Zenny is among one of the most important resources in Monster Hunter Wilds. It’s essentially the primary currency in the Monster Hunter games, something that you earn as part of your quest completion rewards. In MH Wilds, the weapon/armor upgrades and crafting rely primarily on Monster parts.

However, you also need Zenny to essentially apply said upgrades. Each new upgrade or rarity comes with an increased Zenny requirement. And as you progress through Low and High Rank, the cost of weapon and armor upkeep keeps on increasing. By the time you reach the true end-game of MH Wilds, you’ll require millions of Zennies to upgrade just a single armor set.

Suffice it to say that Zenny is something you don’t want to overlook. Thankfully, there are some really easy ways to farm Zenny in the game. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to easily farm Zenny in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Best Ways To Farm Zenny in Monster Hunter Wilds (Low Rank)

In Low Rank, the best way to farm Zenny is by completing the main story and optional quests. Although you won’t need a lot of Zenny in Low Rank, it’s still something you should stay stocked up on before you hit High Rank. In Low Rank, you don’t have access to Tempered Monsters, which are the best source of Zenny in Monster Hunter Wilds. However, you can replay optional quests in single-player mode, to get Zenny.

Another good way to amass plenty of Zenny ahead of High Rank is to sell Low Rank Monster parts. You can sell items from your Inventory to the Vendor at any of the Base Camps. Do make sure to only sell items that you’re not going to use for upgrades.

Lastly, you can also jump into SOS requests in Low Rank to farm Zenny. However, given how little the payout in Low Rank is, SOS is not really worth it. The best Low Rank monsters to farm Zenny are Nerscylla, Doshaguma, Balahara, and Xu Wu. Nerscylla in particular is a really good way to get XP and Zenny. You can sell Nerscylla parts to make a ton of Zenny quite fast. Furthermore, you can also loot the Nerscylla hatchlings to get Monster Fluid, which can be sold for quite a lot of Zenny.

In High Rank, the best way to make a ton of Zenny really quick is to complete the Tempered Monster hunting quests. Furthermore, you should also complete the optional quests that unlock after completing the main story. Some of the optional quests have good payouts in terms of Zenny and also reward you with rare materials that can be sold for quite a lot. In addition to that, you can also complete Tempered Monster Investigations, which come with the highest Zenny payout. The most Zenny can be made on the 5 star Strength Tempered Arkveld (8 Star HR) hunt. Although Tempered Arkveld is quite challenging, defeating it is the best way to make a ton of Zenny super fast.

If you’re looking for a more easier method, you can hunt Tempered Uth Duna or Tempered Guardian Doshaguma. Both these Monsters also come with impressive Zenny payouts. Furthermore, you can also hunt the Tempered Balngonga which not only gets you a ton of Zennies, but also boosts your Hunter Rank by quite a lot. Completing SOS requests is also a viable way to make a ton of Zennies in Monster Hunter Wilds’ High Rank.
