You will face various bosses and monsters in your journey. Slime Diva is one of the early bosses you encounter in Atlyss. Facing the boss without any prior preparations makes the battle challenging. Follow this guide to learn how to find and beat Slime Diva in Atlyss
How To Find Slime Diva in Atlyss
You need to defeat the boss Slime Diva as a part of the quest ‘Diva Must Die’. The quest can be obtained from Angela at the Inner Sanctum after completing the quest to defeat 15 Slimeks in Effold Terrace. Slime Diva can be found in the Effold Terrace field zone.
Use the portal at the Sanctum, which can be located on the left side to get to the Outer Sanctum Gate. There you will find another portal right in front of you. Entering the portal takes you to Outer Sanctum. Follow the way by crossing the bridge and climbing the cliffs to find another portal. You will find several slimes on your path. Enter the portal to reach Effold Terrace.
Now head straight until you see a circular area and turn left to reach an arch. Approaching the arch spawn four Slimeks. Once they are defeated, another wave of Slimeks will spawn again. Defeat them all to face Slime Diva.
How To Defeat Slime Diva in Atlyss
Upon defeating all the Slimeks, the Slime Diva boss will spawn into the arena alongside some minion slimes. Get rid of those slimes first before engaging with Slime Diva. Otherwise, they would be a hindrance during your fight.
To take out this level 10 boss, you are suggested to have level 8 or higher, with enough stat points invested on Vitality and Recovery stats for durability and healing respectively.
Slime Diva Boss Attack Patterns and How to Counter Them
The Slime Diva boss has several attack patterns, and learning them is necessary to defeat her.
- Slime Diva performs basic melee attacks when you are closer. These can be parried or evaded with careful observation.
- She will often launch an acid ball, which forms acid puddles all over the contact area. Stay away from the direction of the ball and its contact area for a while to avoid damage intake.
- Get away from the area, when you notice any green circle on the ground. A triangle-shaped structure erupts from this acid circle and disappears after some time.
- The boss sends a series of minion slimes towards your direction. However, they cannot be attacked or defeated. Instead, you can evade them by moving sidewards. They will disappear once they are crashed to any surface.
Make sure to keep moving around the boss and avoid her incoming attacks. You will get a small gap after every move. Bring down the boss with melee attacks and jump attacks using that gap. You can also try ranged attacks using the Rock Throw skill (rank 3+) and stockpiling rocks in your inventory.
Will There Be Any Rewards for Defeating Slime Diva?
Upon defeating the Slime Diva boss, you will receive two items: Green Lipstick and Slime Diva Ears. Trade these items to get the following:
- Green Lipstick – 18 crowns
- Slime Diva Ears – 20 crowns
These are not the only rewards. Return to Angela to complete the “Diva Must Die” quest, which rewards you with 1200 crowns and 1200+ XP.
