The Second Sister is the first plot boss that you will come across and can be found in the Village of Lanxi at the start of Chapter 4. Where to find the Second Sister Boss Boss in Black Myth Wukong?
The Second Sister boss can be found in the Village of Lanxi area, near the Estate of the Zhu Shrine. It’s the first ever shrine that you will run across after the beginning of Chapter 4. You can find the Second Sister boss in the courtyard beside the Estate of The Zhu Keeper’s Shrine. From the Shrine, move up the stairs to the right and pass through the gate to start the fight with the Second Sister.
How to Reach the Second Sister Boss Fight
You need to travel to the Estate of the Zhu. This will be the first shrine of Chapter 4. Just knock at the door close by to the shrine, and then a piggy will appear, and it will transform you. Once you pass through, the Second Sister will greet you in human form, and right after the cut scene, she will transform herself into the spider form.
How to Beat Second Sister Boss in Black Myth Wukong
To beat the Second Sisters Boss, start the fight by using the Red Tides transformation to deal massive damage and then use Immobilize and Cloud Step. Hit her with the Immobilize, and then you full combo in. Whenever she moves, just dodge back. Surprisingly, she doesn’t hit hard, but you have to be careful with the venom spit because it can poison you.
Ensure you’ve upgraded gears and made all your purchases before getting into the fight. Despite, she’s not the toughest boss in the game but her legs can sometimes make fast movements and attacks really hard. You can team up with Zhu Bajie and keep her on the defensive to beat the Second Sister.
It’s recommended to pay attention to her attack patterns. Stay away from the area when she creates a ring of fire as you can take the damage. It’s best to dodge when flies toward you or else she’ll grab you and deal significant damage. Later in the fight, you can see that she can heal herself if she drinks from a gourd. The best thing to do here is to prevent her from healing.
She employs a variety of attacks, so players can expect a challenging fight. Use the Transformation and the Immobilize Spell and then utilize A Pluck of Many Spell to end the fight quickly. Start the fight by using the Red Tides transformation to deal with massive damage, and then use Immobilize and Cloud Step.

The best tip for defeating the First Sister boss is to Immobilize her using A Pluck of Many and complete your Combo.
- You can expect most of the attacks from her front razor-sharp legs and your main focus should be on those deadly cut-throating legs. She’ll begin the fight by raising one talon high up on the side and bringing it down with her two front legs. Again, she rises into the air and slams down after a pause.
- She’ll also have most of her body up on her legs while combating at close range and she’ll dance upon you and then stab you, multiple times in quick succession. Use the Thrust Stance to retreat and hit her from a distance. Roll forward to dodge under her slam when she follows up her mad dance with a giant leap and you can pivot and attack on her.
- Use the Pluck of many to immobilize the Second Sister, and you’ll cause a massive amount of damage. So, without retaliation, you can land a series of attacks. After immobilizing the Second Sister, use Wandering Wight’s spirit attack to execute a Spirit Attack. While she’s frozen, you must use the 1-hit combo. Use the Transformation ability when the Second Sister is immobilized, as it will unleash heavy attacks at once. You need to deal significant damage while she’s frozen during this phase.
- When you see her charging at you with its sharp, spindly arms, the first thing you need to do is to cast the Immobilize spell and then follow up with A Pluck of Many a Spirit Attack, and a Transformation to deal much damage at the start of the fight. After that, you must maintain a mid-range distance and try to dodge her arm strikes while counterattacking her to drain her health.

The Second Sister in Black Myth: Wukong is easy to deal and many of her moves and attacks are easy to predict even if you are hit by them, they won’t deal much damage. However, during the fight, you will have Zhu Bajie on your side, helping you to take down the Second Sister. While you deal damage to the boss, he can provide you with healing. Below are the best strategies for defeating Second Sister in Black Myth Wukong.
- Front Leg Combo- The Second Sister will attack you with her front legs. In this three-attack combo, she attacks you with her left front leg, and then her right front leg, and in the final attack she hits you with both of her front legs once. You can easily predict this attack and avoid it. The moment you see her front legs in the air, you need to dodge backward multiple times and you can easily avoid this combo.
- Stomach Smash- In this attack, she’ll shake her stomach and then smash it on you. This attack is also easily predictable. The moment you see that the Second Sister is shaking her belly, you need to jump or dodge away to avoid this attack. Dodge left or right will save you from a stomach attack.
- Jump Attack- The Second Sister will jump into the air and hit you with both of her front legs. You’ll be able to dodge this attack if you dodge left, right, or backward at the moment you see Second Sister jumping into the air. Simply moving away will allow you to avoid this attack as well.
- Front Legs Attack- The Second Sister will raise both of her legs into the air and then smash them on you with a powerful hit. You can easily dodge this attack by dodging backward at the moment you see her front legs rising into the air. Get out of the range at the time you see her front legs in the air.
- Ground Slam- In this attack, the Second Sister will bang her whole body on the ground and will deal damage to anyone in that vicinity. This attack covers the whole body of the spider but the range is relatively low, so dodging backward will allow you to avoid this attack. Don’t dodge to left or right as you’ll deal damage in that direction.
- Fang Attack- The Second Sister will raise her fangs into the air and then slam into the ground to attack you. Keep in mind that she will also do a follow-up, right after she slams her fangs back into the ground. The best strategy to avoid this attack is to dodge backward and then counterattack because the Second Sister will follow up.
- Front Leg Cross- In this attack, the front legs of the boss flash instantly and then cross them to attack you. You will easily learn about this attack as soon the front legs glow and you can prevent this attack if you are at a distance. This attack doesn’t have much range, so it’s better to keep a mid-range distance, or if you’re close to her, you can dodge backward multiple times.
- Spinning and dragging- The Second Sister will spin and drag her legs on the ground to attack you. This attack deals massive damage and is one of her dangerous attacks. You will be able to avoid this attack by dodging backward. Dodge backward multiple times to prevent this attack as this attack has a long range.
- Spider Tackle- The Second Sister will do a tackle and throw her entire body at you. This attack is difficult to judge but you can avoid it by dodging left or right at the moment when her body is about to hit you. The Second Sister then follows up as well, so be sure to face her after that initial attack.
- Poison Spray- The Second Sister will move a little in the backward direction and shoot the poison at you. The poison that she will throw at you will come out from her fangs. She will use this attack when you’re at close range to her. Dodging in any direction will help you avoid this attack from her.
Rewards for beating Second Sister Boss in Black Myth Wukong
Once you defeat the Second Sister in Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll be awarded with Gold Tree Core and Venomous Hair. Venomous Hair is a special crafting material that allows you to create the Chitin Staff. The Chitin Staff in Black Myth: Wukong provides you with a 5% Critical Hit Chance and 80 Attack.
However, the Gold Tree Core is a General Weapon Material that is used in crafting weapons. Once you defeat the Second Sister then you can move to the right through the small opening to get the two Treasure Chests. You’ll also encounter many Yaoguais in that vicinity and to access the treasure chest, you need to defeat them.
