After this attack, the Violet Spider will spew poisonous acid on the ground. You should try to get out of the range of that puddle of acid and get behind the Spider to deal damage. The Violet Spider will also use melee attacks, such as a triple leg pierce attack or a somersaulting attack. Tips and tricks to defeat the Violet Spider Boss
The best tip for defeating the Violet Spider Boss is to use Ebon Flow, when She does the web floor attack. Make sure to save your Charge Points.
- When it comes to Violet Spider, you can expect the normal spider moves from any game including shooting webs at you which is going to slow you down if you get hit or step on the spot where they land. If you do get stuck though, simply just smash the dodge button until you finally get loose.
- Depending on what the boss is doing though, make sure to do this as fast as possible because there are times when the boss might actually start shooting at you even more webs or might even try to shoot you with other attacks or just come up and slap you with her claws. Make sure you get out of the way fast enough otherwise; you’re going to take some serious damage. This spider boss even comes with its venom shots that like to home in on you, so make sure you get those perfect dodges ready.
- In typical beast creatures fight, this one comes with its leg attacks. She will attack you with one leg, then the other, and finally, a double leg attack that kind of crosses it up. After the attack is complete, this is a great chance to freeze the boss so you can get some good damage in with a good combo.
- Violet Spider can get knocked down pretty easily. so, make sure you save your charge points, or when you get up to at least two, perfectly three. Try to land that heavy attack as fast as possible and you can knock the boss back a bit and get some extra damage to her. Use the transformation, which can help not only tank damage. You need to worry about any of the poison on the ground that she’s going to be shooting your way. Make sure to have some pills when it comes to the poison since the arena is going to start to get covered in it as the battle goes on.
- There are a couple of moves you need to be cautious of regarding this boss fight. If the boss starts to dig into the ground such as any kind of poison pit that you see then do not stick around by the boss. Make sure you back up a good distance. If you get too close then you’re going to get damage with this big explosion attack and poison is going to be falling all over the place and next thing you know you’re taking a ton of extra damage.
- When you get the boss to about a fourth of her health over, she’s going to start trying to blind you with a deadly move. If you get hit by this, you’ll notice that the entire floor now is covered in webs, and moving around is almost impossible. If you smash the dodge button, you’re going to get stuck again so it can be a real pain to deal with this. This is where I recommend you to use the Ebon Flow. Regardless of what you have, doesn’t matter which one you’re using, utilizing the transformation while she tries to blind you worked out well.
She is a bit agile but overall, you should be able to do some good damage. A single combo can deal a good chunk of her health.
Violet Spider Boss Attacks and Strategies
Below are the best strategies for defeating Violet Spider in Black Myth Wukong.
- Charge- The Violet Spider will slam everything in its vicinity. Once you notice that the spider’s legs are moving at a speed and she starts sprinting towards then you need to get out of the way. You can dodge left or right but not backward.
- AoE Web Shot- The Boss will throw multiple webs at you. You can dodge in any direction to avoid getting hit by the webs.
- Abdomen attack- The Violet Spider will turn around and attack you with his abdomen. You can either dodge or run backward or to either side to avoid the abdomen.
- Claw Strike- This boss will flip forward and slam her front 2 claws onto the ground and then cross the legs upon landing. You can run or dodge to the side when she’s about to hit her claws on the ground.
- Trio Claw Strike- She will raise up her body and slam down with her front legs toward one side at a time and then again attack from the top. When you see her body rising up in the air, you’ll get enough time to avoid the attack. You can do that by dodging backward or running back.
- Poison Spit- The Violet Spider spits the poison on you that deals massive damage. You can easily predict this move by glowing claws. Once you see her front legs glowing green, you can dodge back or run in the backward direction.
- Poison Projectile- She will throw a set of 5 poison projectiles toward you. However, this move works when you’re at a distance with her. You can easily avoid the damage by using the staff spin move or when the projectiles get closer. You can dodge and move out of the range or move to the side.
- Poison Rain- The Violet Spider will dig the ground, bury her head inside, and explode its abdomen. She’ll explode first and then throw poison all over the area. This attack deals heavy damage. The abdomen will go in several directions after it explodes. Keep in mind that poison rain will cover an outer ring. So, you need to stay near the abdomen and attack it.
- Web Projectiles- The Violet Spider will start to fire projectiles made of spider webs, one after another when you’re at a certain distance. There will be a lot of them. And if they hit you then your movement speed will be low and restrict your movements. You can avoid this by moving in the left or right direction. You can also utilize the staff spin move to block it.
- Floor Covering Webbing- This one is the most dangerous attack of Violet Spider when her health drops below half. Keep in mind that sometimes she’ll shine with the light without doing anything. If you somehow get hit by it then the Violet Spider will teleport you into the middle of the arena. And will cover the entire floor with the web. Your movement speed will be relatively low. To avoid this, turn the camera and don’t bother to look at Violet Spider as soon as you notice that the boss starts to glow. When she stops screaming, the effect will stop working and the effect will disappear. Now, you can look again at the Violet Spider to attack.
