Learn how to obtain Super Samples in Helldivers 2, which are essential for upgrades, without much struggle in the PvE shooter.
Players will require Super Samples in Helldivers 2 to permanently upgrade the ship’s modules. There are three types of Samples in the game that players can obtain while trying to save democracy: Common, Rare, and Super. Super are the ones that are the hardest to obtain. To help you get them easily, we’ve made this simple tutorial.
One of the prerequisites of discovering these Super Samples on any surface is that you must be playing at a difficulty ranging from 7 to 9. I am not sure whether the sample even spawns on levels below 7 because, on a mission with this difficulty, you will find that there will be three Super Samples. This number increases to five and six as you progress to level 8 difficulty and then to level 9, respectively.
Some months ago, this was available on all maps that featured either Terminids or Automatons. However, I am not completely confident that you will find these Super Samples on an Illuminate mission as well. You can certainly try the latter with the tips that we are about to give you for locating Super Uranium. That’s right. Super Samples in the game are called Super Uranium when found in the wild and have an icon on them with four white dots.
Claiming Your Super Samples in Helldivers 2
Once you have your prerequisites in check and jump into your desired game, immediately open the map. You won’t seem much while you are zoomed out. All you need to notice is that the primary color of the map shouldn’t be gray. If it’s not, you need to observe small gray dots on the map. These will represent giant rock structures. If the world is of the same color, you will have difficulty spotting them. Moreover, the map could also be covered in spores. So, make sure to get rid of them as well before you do this.
Hover over these gray structures on your map, and the game will tell you whether it is a Minor Point of Interest. Not every gray rock on the map will be one, so make sure to zoom in if you want to. Mark the location and head there to find your Super Uranium with a four-white-dots icon over each resource. Collect it and get back to your mission of saving the Super Earth.
You can also try activating the radar if that level has one. This way, it may reveal this Minor Point of Interest directly to your map. However, I don’t have any personal experience with this method. It is something that the online community suggests.
