The junction boxes in No More Room In Hell 2 can be fixed by solving a puzzle, and they will allow you to power up the area.
No More Room in Hell 2 is now available in early access, and with it, we have another game that throws us in the midst of hordes of zombies. NMRIH2 distinguishes itself, however, with its clever use of puzzles and situational awareness. In the game, you play an emergency responder visiting a zombie-infested site.
As an emergency responder, you have to clear an area, retrieve valuables, power up the grid, and much more. Powering up an area, in particular, is a necessity. Doing so prevents zombies from sneaking up on you in the dark. To do so, you simply have to fix the junction boxes in the area. This, however, is easier said than done when zombies are constantly swarming near you.
In this guide, we shall go over how to fix junction boxes in No More Room In Hell 2.
Connecting the Wires
As you fight through the dark, cutting down zombie after zombie, a faint glow of a broken junction box catches your eye from the distance. You make your way to it slowly so you don’t bump head-first into a zombie waiting in the dark. Once you reach the junction box, you notice a tangled network of wires and codes before your very eyes. In the rush of a swarming horde, solving this puzzle and fixing the electrical junction box can be a daunting task.
The first thing you need to do to solve the junction puzzle is to quickly make note of the readings on the left. There are six sockets on the left-hand side of the junction box, each with a label. Now, look on the right-hand side of the box, and you’ll find similar sockets with labels. These two sets are linked by bridging sockets in the center.
Your task is to link the sockets on the left with the same-named socket on the right. For instance, if a wired socket on the left reads “4a,” connect it to the bridging socket that links it to “4a” on the right. Link the wires and use the switch to power up the area. The wires in these boxes are often tangled to confuse you. But with a bit of patience (and some protection from the hordes of zombies rushing you), you can solve the puzzle in no time and power the area.
