Survival and crafting is the name of the game when you’re playing Lego Fortnite. You’re constantly on the hunt for resources, which you then use to build new bases, villages, utilities, and more. It’s an addictive loop, one that makes Lego Fortnite a joy to play. Resource hunting, especially, is the most fun part as it incentivizes exploration.
Brightcore is one of the many resources you will be scavenging for as you play the game. It is a Rare resource used to build a variety of important utilities in the game. If you’re looking to survive comfortably, this is one resource you need in order to make things easier. In this guide, we shall go over how to get Brightcore in Lego Fortnite.
How To Get Brightcore
Brightcore is found in the warmer regions of the game, so you need to make your way toward the desert in the Dry Valley. We recommend carrying the Cool-Headed Charm to provide resistance against the oppressive heat. Next up, look for a Lava Cave, as the Brightcore spawns inside these hot caves.
It is recommended that you go up to a vantage point and glide across the region using the Glider. This will help you cover distance quickly and scout the region better while doing so.
Once you enter Lave Cave, take a look around for large swaths of Lava. Work your way toward them to large, shiny yellow rocks in the vicinity. These large yellow rocks are the Brightcore ores you are looking for and hold Brightcore within them.
Walk towards the Brightcore ores and use your pickaxe to hit the rocks, mine the resource, and obtain Brightcore. Take note that you will require, at the minimum, the Rare Pickaxe to mine the Brightcore. Any pickaxe below Rare will be insufficient.
How To Use Brightcore
You use Brightcore to make a variety of stuff in the game, the most prominent of which are the Oven and the Metal Smelter. The Oven lets you cook a plethora of dishes, all of which come with higher healing capabilities and are essential to survive towards the mid-to-late game. The Metal Smelter, as its name suggests, melts down metals you find and turns them into bars that are then used to craft items.
