This guide will show you how to get the Felarx shotgun in Warframe and whether it’s worth getting in the game.
The Felarx shotgun in Warframe is one of the weapons that you should get in the game. This weapon can be purchased from Cavalero after finding a specific quest. The Felarx has some unique qualities. Hitting enough weak points allows you to temporarily transform this weapon into its Incarnon form. However, you will most likely stick with its pre-evolution form.
This is due to the weapon’s high burst damage as a shotgun. This is why it is recommended to just stick with its shotgun form instead of using the Incarnon form of dual pistols.
This guide will show how you can get Felarx in Warframe.
How To Get Felarx in Warframe
Before anything else, you must complete the Angels of Zariman quest in Warframe before you can get the Felarx shotgun. Once you complete the quest, you can then travel to Chrystalith in Zariman Ten-Zero. Find Cavalero of The Holdfasts faction and purchase the Felarx Blueprint for 8,000 Standing. Keep in mind that you need to be at least Rank 3 – Guardian standing to unlock the ability to purchase the blueprint. The item is also tradeable so you can purchase it from another player.
Once you have the blueprint, you will need the following materials to build the Felarx shotgun in Warframe:
Material | Amount | Where to Get |
Voidplume Pinion | 10 | Loot drops from dormant Void Angels in Zariman or purchased from Archmedian Yonta. |
Voidplume Quill | 15 | Gained from Zariman missions or bounties. |
Voidgel Orb | 30 | Found throughout Zariman. |
Credits | 30,000 | Gained from simply playing the game. |

Is The Felarx Shotgun Worth It?
If you like close-quarters combat, the Felarx Shotgun is worth the investment in Warframe. However, you won’t be using its Incarnon form much as its base form is already a powerhouse with the right stats. Keep in mind that this weapon also has one of the lowest ammo capacity and magazine carry capacity. You will need to make every shot count on longer fights. Either way, it’s a good burst weapon if you enjoy seeing enemies lose a large chunk of their HP at once.
