The Guardian of Freedom suit is a versatile and highly protective armor crafted by Freedom artisans. It is made of dual-layered materials, which is a combination of treated leather and asbestos yarn fabric to resist radiation and anomalies. The suit’s Sovereign coating protects against mechanical damage and fabric tearing, making it nearly invulnerable to wear and tear.
Its built-in body armor uses reinforced zirconium elements and ten Kevlar layers, providing resistance to pistol bullets, submachine gun fire, assault rifle shots, and fragmentation damage. Despite its weight of 7 kilograms, the suit offers excellent protection, making it a top-tier choice for mid-game players.
The Guardian of Freedom suit is equipped with a first-generation night vision module. It provides unparalleled protection against impacts, explosions, and anomalies, though it is slightly heavier than similar armour. Guardian of Freedom Suit Locations in Stalker 2
The suit is available in several locations across the Zone:
- Brood Compound in Garbage: Head to the Brood compound, west of the Slag Heap settlement. Locate the Forgotten Stash on a rooftop in the southeast corner of the compound. Begin at the Bruise Trader’s bunker entrance. Use the ramp behind the stairs to reach the raised pipes. Follow the pipes south and east to reach the rooftop with the stash. Collect the suit lying next to the Forgotten Stash.
- Army Warehouses: Two suits are stored in the Freedom armory at their base. Freedom members guard the armory, so proceed cautiously.
- Monolith Base in Pripyat: Look for the suit in a trailer near the Brain Scorcher.
- Apartment Blocks in Pripyat: Another suit is hidden in a storage cubby on the second floor of the southernmost block of three connected apartments west of the Palace of Culture. Be prepared to face Military Stalkers guarding the area.
- Mission Rewards and Vendors: You can also acquire the suit by joining the Freedom faction. New members receive the Guardian of Freedom suit for free. Alternatively, complete Lukash’s mission, where you retrieve the unique Healing Beril suit, and he will reward you with the armour. Freedom faction vendors such as Skinflint and Ashot sell the suit after you join the faction. These vendors also offer upgrades to improve its performance.
