With the increase in difficulty, the already tough Tempered Monsters are fiercer here. These quests can take a while, and doing them solo might not always be the best idea. Completing the Double Tempered Monsters Optional Quests at 6-star difficulty level is the best way to farm Hunter Symbol 2 in Monster Hunter Wilds. However, Investigations can only be attempted a limited number of times, and you will have to spend Guild Points to unlock them.
On the other hand, you can repeat Optional Quests as many times as you want. In particular, keep an eye out for any such Optional Quest in the Wounded Hollow region. This is a battleground where monsters do not run away and relocate. Moreover, there is a gate in between that you can use to separate the monsters and only focus on one of them instead. This makes the fight easier, and you should be able to easily farm this item in Monster Hunter Wilds.
