Iron Ore isn’t a common mineral on Luma Island. Despite its scarcity, it is still an important resource for a better lifestyle on the virtual island. When it’s time for you to upgrade your tools, you will want to know how to find Iron Ore, which seems to spawn randomly at first.

All the players are in luck because there seems to be a pattern and a set location where this ore appears. Kindly note that there may be more locations, but the one we will mention here is something we came across. If you find more, help out your fellow Luma Island residents in the comments and add this one to your list!

A pro tip we can give you is that your character must have some fight in them because there will be danger out there on your path. With that said, let’s take you mining for some Iron.

To attain your goal, you must wait until you have successfully unlocked the Forest biome through progression. Reach the Forest by crossing the bridge. Now, you need to find the Lost Forest Caves. Look at the first area on the map when you reach the Forest. The entrance is located in the northwestern corner here.

If you are unable to find this, you can also go to another one, which is found near the lake in the eastern part of the Forest. There are fewer deposits at this end of the region, though.

We suggest that you mine in the main cave (the northwestern entrance) for a richer amount of Iron Ore. Don’t forget to first mine some Iron Ore outside of this cave entrance as well.

Stay on guard because you can be ambushed by two types of spiders here. While one is regular, the other one, marked with a green glow, can be a nuisance with its faster movement and increased health. We suggest that you wait for an opening before attacking them.

For those who need them, there are also workstations like the Sawmill, Ore Smelter, Kiln, and Simple Workbench. A few added bonuses in this mine are Silver Rubble, Charcoal, Pyrite, Bismuth, and Crocoite.
