Enshrouded introduced Moss in the most recent update and players are having trouble finding it. Let us ease the process for you.
Enshrouded seems to be hiding Moss from all the players. The new Terrain Material was introduced in the big fourth update that dropped in November 2024. There were many more updates to keep us busy, so not everybody was able to look for the perfect place to farm Moss.
However, there seems to be a dedicated region where this material spawns, and you don’t have to do much to get there. Let us reveal the big secret: Moss spawns mainly in and around the Albaneve Summits region.
The developers added both the region and the terrain together in the game and also intertwined them to spawn together. You may not see Moss everywhere on the summits because most of the places are covered in snow and Moss has a lush green color. Moreover, it has a damp and wet-looking texture.
So, whenever you spot lush-green trees on any mountain, or specifically in Albaneve Summits, chances are, there will be Moss around the base of those trees. The Fairfield Goat Farm has plenty of Moss that you can mine using your pickaxe. Other than that, the area around Vinebrook Farm (north of Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire or west Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire) can also be a rich Moss biome.
Once you mine this lush-green Terrain Material, you can use it to craft Improved Bandages or a Superior Mana Potion.
Another item that seems scarce because of the new update is also found in the same region.
Farming Pumpkins in Enshrouded
Once you deal with Moss in Enshrouded, the same area also contains pumpkins. This fruit is also somewhat scarce in the game because you won’t find it everywhere. However, Vinebrook Farm specifically contains a lot of these.
Other settlements in the Albaneve Summits can also contain pumpkins. But you can just glide to Vinebrook from the Albaneve Summits (go west on the map), land on the farm, and walk up to the giant fruits to pick them up.
There is also a trick to not run out of them again that we have already briefed previously. Once you’re done here, take a look around and grab all the Moss you need.
