Luckily, these materials can be foraged by hand during your adventures. Once you recognize what these resources look like, you can spot them in the world quite easily.

How To Gather Thatch, Fiber, Stick, and Stones in Towers of Aghasba
All gatherable materials in Towers of Aghasba are marked by a green pointer when you’re close to them. These resources, along with Berry Stumps, can be collected by interacting with them. However, you need to have enough inventory space to accommodate them.
You will need a lot of these basic resources. This is because crafting tools tend to break often and town-building consumes a significant amount of materials. These materials are most commonly found in uninhabited areas without established biomes. They will respawn after a full in-game day. However, it won’t be in the same spots. Remember that skipping time through the tent does not count towards this; only a natural day-night cycle will repopulate resources. These rules also apply to more advanced materials. This includes Spindleroots and Boulders.
How To Get Stones in Towers of Aghasba
In Towers of Aghasba, only specific loose stones can be picked up. The landscape is dotted with numerous small pebbles and rocks. However, only some of these stones can be interacted with. Others are merely part of the scenery. The green marker indicates which stones are collectible. Stones can also be obtained by mining boulders with a pickaxe.
If multiple resources are clustered in one area, you may be able to find unmarked stones as well. In such cases, trying the interact button to see which rocks nearby can be collected is best.
How To Get Sticks in Towers of Aghasba
Sticks are quite small, but they can be much easier to spot compared to stones. They mostly spawn in flatland areas where no settlements have been established. It is important to remember that sticks cannot be obtained by chopping wood. This means you must rely entirely on picking them up from the ground.
How To Get Thatch and Fiber in Towers of Aghasba
You can harvest both Thatch and Fiber from bushes in Towers of Aghasba. Fiber is much more common. However, you can obtain Thatch in larger quantities when a bush does drop it. Harvesting bushes also yields Common Seeds. You can plant these seeds to grow more bushes.
These are the basic resources you can collect at the start of Towers of Aghasba (Amani Island). Later in the game, you’ll find additional basic resources that can be gathered without tools, but the same foraging rules and tips apply to them.
