However, it’s also one of the few trophies that, depending on how you choose to play the game, can either feel extremely easy or incredibly tedious to unlock. Essentially, to unlock this trophy, you need to complete a total of 100 hunts/quests in multiplayer. However, the description of the trophy doesn’t define which multiplayer modes are eligible for the unlock. Given the game offers both, a regular and a drop-in drop-out (SOS) co-op mode, it’s natural for players to get confused while pursuing the Hunters United Forever trophy.

Prerequisites for the Hunters United Forever Trophy in Monster Hunter Wilds
To unlock the Hunters United Forever trophy, you need to complete 100 quests via multiplayer. This means you need to complete at least 100 quests via co-op, and while connected to the game’s online services. All quests are viable for this trophy, be it the main story quests or the endgame Investigations. That said, if you’re on a console (PS5 or Xbox Series X|S) this trophy will require you to subscribe to your platform’s online services (PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live). However, there are no such requirements on PC. Furthermore, regular co-op (via private lobbies) and SOS requests are viable for the Hunters United Forever trophy in Monster Hunter Wilds.
In fact, if you’re playing the game primarily solo, the SOS requests are the best way to farm multiplayer quests for this trophy. Do note that only those quests that you complete alongside at least one other player in the same quest lobby will be accounted for, toward the trophy’s progress.

There are a few easy methods to unlock the Hunters United Forever trophy. However, the best method is to use the SOS feature. The SOS is essentially a way for players to enter other online player’s lobbies for a single quest, to help them complete it. The SOS system has been a staple of the series since the earlier Monster Hunter games. And in Monster Hunter Wilds, it’s been refined to perfection. To check SOS requests, simply talk to Alma (the Handler), and select the SOS Flare Quests. You can also filter the quest type, target monster, and Hunter Rank for the SOS quests. If you’re looking to unlock the Hunters United Forever trophy as fast as possible, we recommend selecting Low Rank quests.
With a High Rank build, you will easily breeze through Low Rank quests. That way, you’ll easily hit the 100 multiplayer quests quite fast.
