The Weird Ball artifact can be acquired during the early game. Equipping the Weird Ball artifact into one of your slots reduces the damage caused by bullets when standing still. Moreover, it doesn’t emit any radiation, unlike some other artifacts.

The Weird Ball artifact, which appears like a red cork ball, can be found under the Bulba anomaly east of the Zalissya base. It is only a short trip away from Zalissya. Upon reaching the location, you will find a beautiful lake. What makes the lake terrifying is the unusual Bulba anomaly located at the center. This anomaly is guarding our target artifact, the Weird Ball, which is found right under the anomaly. Before rushing to it, closely observe how the anomaly works first.

The Bulba anomaly will expand and collapse at specific time intervals. During its expansion phase, it pulls all nearby things, including you. Your health will drain if you are pulled in. Being too close during the suction will result in instant death.

How To Avoid Bulba Anomaly and Get the Weird Ball Artifact

So, how do you get the artifact then? Luckily, we have a strategy to grab this artifact without getting hit. It is a little tricky but works. You might see that the Bulba is constantly pulling all the immovable things toward it within its radius. Although nearby vehicles are deformed by the strong suction force, they remain stationary and are not pulled toward the anomaly.

So, yes, that is the key. Wait until the Bulba completes its suction. Once it concludes, crouch behind immovable objects around the lake, such as rocks and vehicles. Wait until the next suction ends, then shift to the next cover within the timing window.

When executed perfectly, this strategy brings you to the ambulance at the center near the anomaly. Now, wait for the right time and peek from the ambulance to obtain the Weird Ball artifact. Then, return to the land using the same method: hiding behind covers during the pull and shifting to the next cover once it is completed.
