In Fields of Mistria, you will come across several items and resources as you progress through the game. One key item is the Tidestone, an Artifact that you will need in later levels to unlock special rewards and craft crucial recipes. You can find this naturally occurring Artifact in the Tide Cavern. Here is everything you need to know to obtain Tidestone in Fields of Mistria.
Finding Tidestone in Fields of Mistria
Before you begin your journey to obtain Tidestone, you must reach floor 20 of the mine to break the water seal by placing the following four items on the pedestal of the front door:
- Ruby
- Lantern Moth
- Stone Loach
- Upper Mines Mushroom
These items can be easily found at the lower levels. Afterward, the Tide Cavern will be unlocked, and you can easily find any of the five Artifacts by digging up the raised dirt mounds with the help of a shovel or pickaxe. As the Tidestone is a rare Artifact, finding it from the mounds can be a complex challenge. However, you can increase your chances by acquiring the following two-tier skills:
- Stoneturner: With the help of this skill, you can acquire Artifacts by breaking stones in the mines.
- Pursuit: This skill increases your chances of finding a rare Artifact.
Use of Tidestone in Fields of Mistria
Once you obtain Tidestones, you can use them in the following ways:
- Donating to the museum: You must donate a Tidestone to the museum to complete the Tide Cavern Artifact set. Apart from the Tidestone, there are four other items in the set. The items are Tidestone, Starlight Coral, Dense Water, Crab Statue, and Stone Shell. Completing the Tide Cavern Artifact set will get you rewards. Additionally, if you are quick enough to donate the Tidestone as soon as you find it, you will unlock extra rewards.
- Craft a Toilet: After purchasing the Toilet recipe from Merri’s Stall, you can craft a toilet with Tidestone as one of the key ingredients.
