Newbie Defense is a new tower defense game released in April 2025. The game pits you against enemies called Newbies, who are out to steal your Robux. Despite being in the alpha stage, the game has added a lot of content in recent weeks.

How To Use Cash
You start with $500-850 in-game cash, depending on the game mode. You must use this cash to place units that defend against the Newbies. Defeating enemies generates more cash, which you can use to improve your defenses.
If you join the game’s official Roblox community, you will receive an extra $100 cash prize to start with every stage. Joining the community is recommended, even if you don’t interact with other players, as the starting bonus makes the stages much easier.
How Towers Work in Newbie Defense
Your goal is to place towers with their signature attacks on the map. When you first start a game, you’ll fight Basic Newbies. As the stage progresses, stronger Newbies will try to attack and take down your defenses. You need to eliminate all the Newbies and build up your defenses.
The game always shows which path the enemy will take to the finish line, so place your towers accordingly. If enemies reach your base and reduce its HP to zero, you lose.
How To Use the Upgrade System
Click on a tower to view its upgrade costs. You can also spend cash to repair damaged towers. Use cheap towers like the Slayer or Demoman to eliminate Basic Newbies. As more enemies appear, upgrade your towers to take them down quickly.
Gunner Towers are among the best in the game, and you should focus on acquiring them. The best strategy for upgrading your towers is to focus on those closest to the enemy spawns. Towers that deal damage to multiple enemies are the most effective. You can get towers with single-target damage in stages where boss-type enemies spawn.
