Learn how to reach the Ancient Spire in Albaneve Summits to master the brand new mountain range in Enshrouded.
Albaneve Summits brought a new Ancient Spire for your easy travel in Enshrouded. This new area was promoted when the latest Souls of the Frozen Frontier update was released. Those who wish to master the cold mountain summits here may find it useful to reach the spire first.
Like any other Ancient Spire in the game, the one on the Albaneve Summits serves the same purpose. However, it can be a little tricky to get to because of its location. Let’s discuss how to get there with ease.
A prerequisite for reaching here is gaining some Frost Resistance to explore efficiently. Otherwise, your Flameborn may die of hypothermia. If you need to extend your stay on the mountain, pack enough food that offers Frost Resistance to increase your chances of survival.
Now that you know how to survive out there, let us show you an easy way to get to the point where you want to be.
Visiting the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire
The quest that will take you here is Ignite the Snowy Mountaintops. This one can be accessed through the altar. Now, begin your journey by going toward the Passage to the Albaneve Summits. This will be past the Vukah settlement.
The easiest way to reach your destination is to keep on the track leading to the spire from around the mountains. It is definitely a long way to the Ancient Spire but a much safer one.
You will eventually reach a giant gateway that will lead you to a puzzle. First, you need to interact with the platform on the lower level so it can transport you to the floor above. Now that you have reached the Ancient Spire in Albaneve Summits, you must master it.
Solving the Puzzle
You will spawn on the upper floor facing in a particular direction. Don’t head straight. Instead, turn back and turn right to spot a first button at the end of this path. Press it and return to your spawn location. However, be careful because the floor is slippery due to icing and you wouldn’t want to accidentally get impaled by the floor spikes.
Once you reach the spawn point, head in the direction you were first looking. Double jump or jump on dirt to turn right from the spikes and avoid getting electrocuted by the lightning bolts. Turn right once more and jump over the spikes to press the second button.
Now, return to the location of the first button location and peek past the wall in front of you. You will see where the electric bolts are coming from. There is also a grapple point that you can hook yourself to. Just wait until the bolt brushes past your location, get out in the open, double jump, and grapple up on the ledge.
The beams here are icy and also have spikes at some intersections. Keep jumping to stay in control and avoid resetting your progress. From where you grappled up, there is the third button far behind. Make your way by crossing the beam carefully.
Button four is located northwest of here. Make your way to it while keeping the same precautions in mind because you will be using the beams a lot.
On this very floor (where you are walking on the beams), there is a chamber right in the middle. The doors must be open now. So, you can interact with the magical light in the middle to teleport to the next level.
One More Test For the Flameborns
There is a platform located above at the far end of the room. There is also a steam in the middle that will take you up. Aim for the said platform and glide over to it. Now, from here, look to the other end (where you were standing before). There will be a chamber built into the right corner.
It’s slightly higher so you will need the spiral steam again. Just go to the left corner of your platform, use the spiral and carefully land on your new platform. Now, there will be a button here. Press it.
Across the hall, you will spot a similar corner room. Visit that using your glider again. The electric bolts can hit you mid-air. So, time your glide just right for this one. When the right wall shoots the blast, start flying and you should be safe. Press another button here.
Go to the upper level across the hall again. Avoid the lightning bolts similarly and press one more button on this level.
Repeat this process once more to reach the topmost level and press the button there as well. Now, there is another teleporter here. However, the buttons we pressed were for a golden chest. This chest is sitting at the far end from where you first spawned in this giant hall. You can go down and claim it easily. Or if you wish for it, exit this area using the teleporter on the topmost level.
This will have unlocked the Ancient Spire as you wanted. Now you can use this location to fast travel to the Albaneve Summits whenever you like.
