Monster Hunter Wilds has a wide variety of abnormal status conditions and debuffs that can often land you in trouble during fights. These are often inflicted by specific monsters, but other environmental conditions can also apply these effects in some cases.

Bleeding is an annoying abnormal status condition which can spell disaster for you during fights. Removing this is easy, but can be situational sometimes. In this article, we will explain how you can stop bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds and remove this condition.

Ways To Remove Bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds

There are two ways to remove bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds:

  • Crouch for a few seconds.
  • Consume Ration.
  • Consume a Wild Jerky.

The best way to cure bleeding is to consume a Wild Jerky or Ration. Since using consumable items makes you slow walk, you need to be on your Seikret while using them. When you have been afflicted with the bleeding condition, simply call upon your Seikret and run in circles for a few seconds as you consume a Wild Jerky. This will not only cure your bleeding, but will also increase your health regeneration for a while.

In case you run out of both Ration and Wild Jerky, you can resort to using the more risky option. Simply crouch for a few seconds, and your bleeding will automatically be removed in Monster Hunter Wilds. In the heat of the battle, this might be difficult to do, since a monster that has targeted you will generally find you. In such a situation, using you Ghillie Mantle to hide your presence and then crouching for a few seconds might help save you.

There are two items that can prevent bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds:

  • Suture Gem at Level 3 (Decoration)
  • Bleeding Resistance Charm at Level 3

Suture Gem is a jewel drop that you can get by defeating monsters at higher difficulty. It is a random drop and depends entirely on your luck. Being a decoration, you can equip this on any of your gem slots on your armor.

You will need to craft the Bleeding Resistance charm to equip it, and here are the materials that you need to craft this item:

  • Guardian Ebony Sinew x2
  • Guardian Ebony Scale x1
  • Talioth Scale x1
  • Iron Ore x2

This charm will reduce the damage per tick at levels 1 and 2. When you finally upgrade it to level 3, it will completely negate bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Your health bar at the top also flashes red, and this condition is not automatically cured. The only monster who can afflict bleeding currently in Monster Hunter Wilds is Guardian Ebony Odogaron.

Guardian Ebony Odogaron is one the most aggressive and mobile monsters that you will encounter. As such, crouching to remove this status condition might not be possible in many cases. If you are intent on farming this monster, make sure to stock up significantly on Wild Jerky before heading out.
