You can unlock Mastery camos in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 by completing the Mastery challenges for each weapon.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 comes with loads of skins and camos that allow players to express their personalities and flair. Some camos, however, take it a step beyond as they are a testament to the player’s skill set. The Mastery camos in Black Ops 6 indicate how experienced a player is, and they are unlocked by completing a wide range of challenges. Owning these skins is an indicator of your skill and commitment to the game.
In this guide, we shall go over how to unlock the Mastery camos in the Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies modes of Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
How to Unlock Camos in Black Ops 6
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 features three types of camos for its game modes:
- Military camos
- Special camos
- Mastery camos
The Military camos are at the lowest tier, while the Mastery camos are at the very top. These camos are unlocked sequentially, and you can only unlock the Mastery camos by unlocking the other two first.
Military Camos
You can unlock the Military camos by completing a unique series of challenges for every weapon. These are tied to the number of headshots (for Multiplayer), number of critical kills (in Zombies), and the number of eliminations (in Warzone). Each weapon has nine challenges for you to complete, and you can then move to the next tier.
Special Camos
Once you’ve unlocked the Military camos, you will have access to the Special camos. These camos are universal and have their own distinct unlock criteria. Once you meet the criteria, you can equip it on the weapons you like.
Mastery Camos in Black Ops 6
With the previous two tiers unlocked, you can now put your focus on unlocking the Mastery camos in the game. Thankfully, there are lots of these for you to unlock, with each mode having four.
Multiplayer Mastery Camos
The Multiplayer mode in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has four Mastery camos you can unlock sequentially. You unlock the camo for each weapon by completing the challenge tied to it. Unlock a camo for all weapons, and you gain access to the next tier.
| Camo | Unlock Criteria |
| Gold | Complete the Gold challenge of a weapon to unlock the camo for it. The challenges vary from weapon to weapon. |
| Diamond | You can only access the Diamond camo after unlocking the Gold camo for all weapons. Next, complete the Diamond challenges for all weapons to unlock the camo. |
| Dark Spine | You unlock the Dark Spine challenge after unlocking the Diamond camo for all weapons. Complete the Dark Spine challenges to unlock the camo for each weapon. |
| Dark Matter | Unlock the Dark Spine for all weapons to access the Dark Matter challenges. Complete the Dark Matter challenges to unlock the skin for your weapons. |
Zombies Mastery Camos
The Zombie Mastery camos work much the same as they do in the Multiplayer mode.

| Mystic Gold | Complete the Mystic Gold challenges associated with each weapon to unlock the camo for it. |
| Opal | Unlock the Opal camo tier by unlocking the Mystic Gold camo for all weapons. Next, complete the Opal challenges for all weapons to unlock the camo. |
| Afterlife | Unlock the Afterlife camo tier by unlocking the Opal camo for all weapons. Next, complete the Afterlife challenges for all weapons to unlock the camo. |
| Nebula | Unlock the Nebula camo tier by unlocking all the 33 Afterlife weapon camos. Complete the Nebula challenges for each weapon to unlock the camo for it. |
Warzone Mastery Camos
The Warzone Mastery camos unlock much the same way as they do in the modes above.

| Gold Tiger | Complete the Gold Tiger challenges of each weapon to unlock the camo for it. |
| King’s Ransom | Unlock this camo tier by unlocking the Gold Tiger camo for all weapons. Next, complete the King’s Ransom challenges tied to each weapon to unlock the camo. |
| Catalyst | Unlock the King’s Ransom camo for all weapons to access the Catalyst challenges. Complete these challenges to unlock the camo. |
| Abyss | Unlock the Abyss camo tier by unlocking all the 33 Catalyst weapon camos. Complete the Abyss challenges for each weapon to unlock the camo for it. |
