Learn about the process to unlock the Mantled with Might trophy in Black Myth Wukong, including the description, requirements, and more.
The Mantled with Might trophy in Black Myth: Wukong is easily one of the toughest ones to unlock in the game. The requirements of the trophy aren’t particularly demanding. However, given the way Black Myth: Wukong mentions trophy requirements, it can be a bit confusing to discern the actual prerequisites that need to be met before you can unlock a particular trophy. This holds true for Mantled with Might. However, even if you deduce the requirements for this particular trophy, it will easily take you upwards of 60 hours (if not more) before you can unlock it.
Fortunately, the Mantled with Might trophy isn’t bound to New Game+ cycles. And hence, you can technically unlock it on your very first playthrough. However, as is the case with some of the end-game trophies in the game, Mantled with Might will require a ton of grinding, which can get tedious after a while. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to unlock the Mantled with Might trophy in Black Myth: Wukong.
Prerequisites to Unlock the Mantled with Might Trophy
The description for the Mantled with Might trophy states – “Shoes on feet, hat on head, embroidered shirt, Daoist robe-free as can be, doing as you please!” Naturally, the description doesn’t paint a clear picture of how to unlock the trophy. However, the description does mention something about a “Daoist robe.” As such, you’d think it requires you to unlock a “Daoist robe” for the Destined One. Unfortunately, that’s not the actual requirement for the trophy. Instead, the real prerequisite for the Mantled with Might trophy is to unlock (and craft) every single piece of armor in the game (including individual pieces).
The requirement for the trophy seems quite easy, given you do get showered with armor sets as you progress through the story. However, apart from the armor sets that unlock naturally via progression, there are also a few pieces that are random enemy drops. And as is the case with random drops in most action RPGs (or souls-likes), a la Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and Sekiro, the drop rate of such random items is incredibly low in Black Myth: Wukong.

You will get most of the armor sets in your first playthrough. However, there’s one armor that will require going through New Game+ – the Bull King’s set. You can only craft 2 pieces of the armor set on your first playthrough of the game. To craft the other two pieces, you will need to complete the “secret area” of Chapter 5 (The Flaming Mountains) in New Game+. As for the random armor pieces, the best way to farm those items is by using the Golden Carp Curios as well as the Skull of Turtle Treasure.
The Golden Carp Curios is unlocked upon completing the Loong questline and defeating the Yellow Loong. Whereas, the Skull of Turtle Treasure is obtained as a random item drop from defeating the Turtle Treasure elite enemy in Chapter 3 (The New West) and Chapter 5 (The Flaming Mountains).
