Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) gives you access to your personal Hideout. Here’s a quick guide on how to unlock it for good.
Having a Hideout in Path of Exile 2 is a feature that doesn’t readily unlock for players. Since the game doesn’t automatically tell you where to find one, it can be a little confusing even for the original Path of Exile fans.
You don’t have to wait until the endgame to unlock a Hideout. In fact, players can unlock one as early as Act 2 while exploring the Chamber of Sins 2. This happens during the main story campaign itself.
You can stumble upon an unknown location that can be a designated Hideout. Players are not supposed to just walk in and camp there. On the contrary, once you start exploring a Hideout, you will have to clear that place up. There will be several high-grade enemies that you need to eliminate before you can settle in.
If you fail to do so, the encounter will reset completely, and the Hideout will remain locked. However, if you are as good as you think you are, the area will unlock, and you will be able to customize it then.
How To Access the Hideout in Path of Exile 2?
The best way to visit your Hideout is to get to the World Map screen. Just press the U key on PC. On the right side of the screen, you will see a small blue icon below the Underground Map icon. Clicking the blue icon will lead you to the Hideout selection tab to choose where you wish to visit.
There will be four of these areas to choose from. The bad news is that you need to unlock each one separately. These are all named Canal Hideout, Felled Hideout, Limestone Hideout, and Shrine Hideout.
These are isolated spaces that can be designed to suit a player’s needs. Your personal Stashes, Guild Stashes, the Map Device, any crafting apparatus, and more can be found here.
In our view, it is a pretty useful personal space for a player while playing the game. So, it is only advisable that you unlock them as soon as you can.
