Let’s explore how to get mods in Mecha Break and how to use these modifiers to tweak your mech.

Mecha Break is the hot new PvP game, and a lot of its rising popularity can be attributed to the mechs. These mechs, called Break Strikers in the game, are at the core of the game’s combat. They’re your means of traversal and dealing damage. Mecha Break allows you to modify these Strikers to tweak their performance, which enhances your gameplay experience.
Experimenting with the various mods available will let you fine-tune your build or help you find your playstyle. The mod effects range anywhere from boosts to your Max Energy to changes in the Energy Fuze Cooldown. If you haven’t found all the mods yet or are unsure of how to use them, we’re here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to get mods in Mecha Break and then how to use these modifiers to tweak your mech.
How To Get Mods

You get mods in Mecha Break by opening the various Supply Crates you receive after completing challenges and objectives. Each of these crates holds a number of unidentified mods within them. There are two types of Supply Crates, blue and purple, with the latter granting you higher-quality (but still random) mods. Since there is no guarantee of the type of mod you may receive from any crate, we recommend collecting and opening as many Supply Crates as you can.
You can also craft mods. Head over to the Hangar and go to the “Mods” tab under this menu. This is the third tab from the left. Head to the “Mods” menu and look to the bottom right corner of your screen. Click on “Mod Port Assembly” and craft the mods you like.
Lastly, you can obtain mods by playing through the extraction-style Mashmak mode. Play through this mode, and you will obtain mods as random drops from enemies you defeat. Take note that you only get to keep these mods if you have a successful run in the mode.
How To Use Mods
Once you’ve run through all your Supply Crates and have found the mods you like, it is time to use them. Head to the Hangar menu in the game. Under this menu, you will have several tabs. Select the tab that reads “Mods.” This is the third tab from the left. Under the Mods menu, you will see the various mods you have on the left side of your screen. Select and assign mods under this menu as you see fit.
