Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an open-world RPG. The developer, Warhorse Studios, is known for meticulously crafting every aspect of their game. From direct combat to ranged combat and stealth, everything in KCD 2 is an option to defeat an enemy when you are on a quest.

We know how elaborate combat is in the game; however, sometimes it is not the right way to approach a mission. Fighting an enemy head-on can be challenging on its own, but when there are multiple enemies in front of you, it becomes a different mountain to climb. In these moments, sneaking your way is the best option. So, now we will look at how you can effectively use Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s stealth mechanics to achieve your goal.

In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the NPCs won’t take it lightly if they find you somewhere you don’t belong. Sometimes the situation will call for you to do some task while being unnoticed by everyone. Some NPCs might let you go with a warning, but others will make sure that you don’t live to tell the tale. In these harsh times, we must use every trick in the book to make sure no one can see us before we want them to. There are a lot of things you have to keep in mind to successfully use Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s Stealth.

Remember that skills and perks alone won’t be able to make you successful in stealth. If one can pick you up from a crowd or you make too much noise just by walking, then there is no hope for you to go anywhere unobserved. You have to keep a low profile, and the best way to do it is by crouching. However, it is a two-edged sword. Crouching in the dark can make you almost invisible to enemies, but if you crouch in the middle of a crowded street in broad daylight, then that will attract attention instead of avoiding it.

Less is More in Stealth

The first step that you must take to become a stealthy ninja is to get appropriate attire. Black clothing will decrease your visibility in the dark significantly, and appropriate footwear will make your steps quiet as a cat. Also, the less metal you have in your armor, the less sound it will make when you move. Additionally, do not do anything that makes noise in these situations, such as breaking anything or alarming a dog.

Don’t Forget the Stats

The success of your stealth approach will mainly depend on the Visibility, Noise, and Conspicuousness stats of each individual item you will wear. The lower the numbers, the better you will be at sneaking.

Of course, there is another way. If you want to infiltrate a faction in the game, instead of sneaking your way, you can simply get the attire of that faction and walk in on their place without anyone interrupting. This aspect of the game is called Social Stealth. The more items of that faction you have, the less noticeable you will be. Items that cover your face, such as helmets, are very effective in these scenarios.

But keep in mind that the Social Stealth only works in quests that will recognize a disguise; otherwise, this approach won’t work.
