Facial Capture in Inzoi is a special feature that will allow you to upload your face and expressions into the game. Learn how to use it.
Inzoi is a life simulation that will feature numerous ways to customize the character or Zoi that you create. While the in-game visuals and options lead to lifelike and realistic-looking Zois, you can go a step further by using the Facial Capture feature. This is a special tool that allows you to use your mobile device to capture a likeness of your face.
Then, you can import that likeness onto your created Zoi, making them closely resemble you. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can use Facial Capture in Inzoi and other details about it.
How Can You Use Facial Capture in Inzoi?
Here is a step-by-step guide on using the Facial Capture tool from within the game.
- Step 1: Choose the Facial Capture option in the Create a Zoi menu. This option is towards the top of the screen.
- Step 2: Place your mobile device and your PC on the same internet connection. Then, proceed with the setup.
- Step 3: Scan the QR code that appears on your screen with your mobile device. This will open the download link for the Live Link Face application.
- Step 4: Next, choose Live Link (ARKit) in the Select Capture Mode.
- Step 5: Your mobile device will then display the face-tracking screen. When this happens, go to Settings on the top left of your phone screen.
- Step 6: Choose Streaming and then select Live Link. Tap on Add Target and then type your connection’s IP address. You’ll be able to see your IP address in-game in the Facial Capture Setup Guide.
- Step 7: The game will then perform a scan to locate your mobile device. Click on your device when it appears to link the two. Then, you can scan your face and import it into the Zoi creation menu.
Keep in mind that the Live Link application is only available on iOS. Most facial recognition or capture technology goes through patents, so it is highly unlikely that the Live Link app will make its way to Android anytime in the future. This could make Facial Capture in Inzoi exclusive to owners of Apple devices.

Webcam Facial Capture Option Could Also Be Available
An in-game showcase also hinted that the game will support motion capture through a webcam. So, even if you do not own an iOS device, you might be able to import your likeness into the game. However, this is an experimental feature that may take some time for KRAFTON, Inc. to implement properly. For now, the best option for Facial Capture in Inzoi is to rely on the Live Link application.
