As a dress-up focused title, this game features one of the most fancy and highly detailed dresses I have seen in my gaming years.
To unlock these outfits, you’ll need to do a lot of grinding or gambling. The game lets you craft outfits using resources found in the world. However, the most glamorous outfits are locked behind a gacha system. This is probably why some people would tell you it’s not a free game.

Does Infinity Nikki Have Microtransactions
Just like all the other free-to-play gacha games, Infinity Nikki features its own microtransactions. The currencies in the game can be a bit confusing at first. Here’s a brief explanation of each currency that you can get in the game:
- Stellarite: Stellarite is the game’s premium currency. You get these via top-up with real money. You can then convert this to Diamond in a 1:1 Ratio.
- Diamond: This is the game’s main currency. You can use it to exchange for crystals that can be used in gacha banners.
- Revelation Crystal: You use these pick crystals for limited-time banners in Infinity Nikki.
- Resonite Crystal: These blue crystals can only be used in permanent banners.

Does Infinity Nikki Have Gacha Mechanics
Infinity Nikki calls its gacha system the Resonance Banners. You need one crystal to pull from these banners. Each banner features various outfit sets that you get. Each pull grants a random reward from the prize pool.
Basically, for every 20 pulls you make in the banner grants a 5-star outfit piece. The gacha system also guarantees a 4-star piece every 10 pulls. You can get a premium reward earlier. But if you don’t, you at least can expect to get one every few pulls through its pity system. It also doesn’t give you duplicates of what you already have.
This might sound generous, but you will need to spend more than a few crystals just to get a full set of outfits. A good example is the Crystal Poems set that has a total of nine pieces to collect. This means you’ll have to spend a total of 180 pulls to have the full set. This is assuming you only get them through pity.
Is Infinity Nikki Free-To-play
Despite its microtransactions and gacha mechanics, Infinity Nikki is a free-to-play game. You don’t have to spend real money to get ahead in this game. Having the cutest 5-star outfits is a big flex, and the bonus stats you get can help make the game more manageable, but you don’t necessarily need them.
You can acquire outfits in the game via crafting. This means enjoying the game without spending a dime is definitely possible. But we know how tempting it is to spend in a gacha game. This is a dress-up game after all. Getting the most flashy and stunning outfits is part of the appeal. The desire to collect rare and beautiful designs can be hard to resist, especially when the game offers so many eye-catching items that enhance both your wardrobe and your overall experience.
With that said, this is a free game, and the developers do need revenue to continue delivering quality content. Just be mindful of your spending habits. The beauty of Infinity Nikki isn’t limited to the fancy outfits you get from its gacha system. Take the time to explore its world, and immerse yourself in the story. These are the things the developers have given you on a silver platter.
