Is Repo Available on Consoles

Repo is going viral on the internet for its fun and chaotic co-op horror gameplay, but is it available for console players to enjoy?

Fun co-op horror games like Repo are hardly ever seen on consoles. Since its release, players found how similar the game looks to Lethal Company. Turns out, the games are similar not only in art style and concept, but also in their platform market. So far, R.E.P.O. is only available on PC. Players can buy it on Steam. Since it’s not on consoles yet, will it ever be?

Repo’s Future On Consoles

Unlike other similar games in the genre, it looks like the team behind Repo has plans for bringing it to consoles. On the PlayStation App on mobile, if you search for the game, you will find R.E.P.O. Horror. The publisher responsible for the upload is West Connection Ltd. While it may confuse some gamers, it appears to be the same game with the exact same logo. The publisher, however, is different, along with a few other changes.

To begin with, the console version of the game is listed as a single player game with up to 2 online players supported. As we all know, R.E.P.O. originally supports 6 players to tackle the co-op along with some interesting gadgets to ease your money-making journey.

Another discrepancy is that the game is listed to be “PS4 Pro Enhanced“. This is odd considering most games are now supporting PS5 games yet there is no description for its PS5 support. It could mean that the game may be delayed from its expected release date.

When Will Repo Come Out on Consoles?

As of now, there is no set release date for Repo’s console release. This is upsetting for all the console gamers. However, to give them hope, the team has announced on the same official PlayStation Store page that we can expect it sometime in 2025. Apart from that, there is no confirmed month of release.

Since the release date is clouded, there is no information present on the game’s price either. On Steam, in the USA, the game is available for $9.99. The team might follow the same process on consoles as well and list the game at a similar cheap price. Either way, it is unlikely that it will come out for free on consoles.
