Towers of Aghasba does not feature crossplay between platforms at the moment, but the feature is set to arrive as part of an update in 2025.
Towers of Aghasba is all about surviving in a treacherous world with the resources at hand. The resources are scarce, and every decision you make requires the utmost thought. You can also go on this treacherous journey with a friend by your side, but only with a friend on the same platform as you, as Towers of Aghasba does not feature crossplay at the moment. However, crossplay is scheduled to be added to the game as per the game’s roadmap.
When Will Towers of Aghasba Get Crossplay
Towers of Aghasba is scheduled to get crossplay in Q2 of 2025, as per the game’s roadmap. This means that the crossplay feature will release in the second quarter of the year, anytime between April and June.
The game’s Early Access roadmap states that it will add and improve upon “Multiplayer Experiences and Activities” in Q2 of 2025. This section will include new creatures, new quests, and crossplay. Once the feature is live, you will be able to play with other Towers of Aghasba players regardless of the platform they play on. The game is available on PS5 and PC, and you will be able to play with players on either platform.
Other Features Scheduled for Release
Apart from crossplay, the game has several other notable updates scheduled for 2025. Dreamlit Inc., the game’s developer, plans to add new quests and regions in Q1 of 2025. They will also make improvements to time-related in-game features, bringing in enemies that only spawn during certain periods of the day.
Q1 will also see the release of the Offline Play feature and a much-anticipated Photo Mode. We do not know much about the features of the Photo Mode, but we hope it is feature-heavy to allow us to capture photographs of the game’s scenic landscapes.
In Q2, the devs will also be improving upon the game’s AI, making the world feel more alive and lived-in. They will also be adding new customization options, allowing you to fully indulge in the game’s extensive character creator options. The final stretch of the year will see a new region, all packed with its own ecosystem, foliage, creatures, and quests.
In 2026, the game will see some major updates with the release of a tower levels update, new withered content, new major questlines, building customizations, and much more.
