Is Warzone Still Worth It?

As you would expect, Warzone is a multiplayer game and cannot be played solo. Sure, you can queue for a solo Resurgence or Battle Royale match. However, you still need a good internet connection and a healthy player count to kick off a match. But do we still have the latter? Surprisingly, despite being out for a good few years and being accused of having a toxic player base, Warzone still has a healthy player count.
I think the game’s never-ending updates and collaborations likely have everything to do with it. The game is enjoyable for people who enjoy a certain competitive genre. But what keeps them coming back is the content that Activision keeps adding frequently to keep things fresh. So, if you like a lively game with fast matchmaking, Warzone is still alive in 2025!

Stunning Visuals
Even though people have a love-hate relationship with Warzone, they can’t deny that the game’s graphics are absolutely stunning! Since Activision has been regularly updating the game, its visual aspects are also up to date. Warzone’s audio and gameplay amazingly align with the visuals.
Each movement and blast shows an impact that feels immersive. So, as far as the visuals are concerned, the game is pretty polished and well taken care of. However, the only thing that should concern you at this point is the gameplay.
The Gameplay Might Change Your Mind
With the introduction of new guns with Battle Passes and the brand-new omnimovement, the game is ever-evolving. The latter completely overhauled the movement aspect of the gameplay. Since all games come with a “learning curve,” there are some people who get used to this curve pretty easily. Then there are those who take some time. If you are the second type, your journey will be tough.
Warzone has been out for long enough that the player base is pretty much unforgiving. Even skill-based matchmaking will betray you when it comes to a lobby of more than 20 players. The game offers players an “armor vest” to help them last longer on the battlefield. This can also be deceiving for those who are used to playing Call of Duty multiplayer.
But if you like a rough challenge that can push you past your limits, then you might enjoy Warzone even in 2025. But be ready to get used to that learning curve quickly.
