YouTube star Darren “IShowSpeed” is one of the well-known figures in the online world. The streamer has managed to pull in a huge crowd wherever he has gone. Currently, he is hosting his first-ever IRL tour in Australia and New Zealand. During his latest broadcast, a viewer asked him about his plans to visit Africa. While the streamer has previously hinted about visiting the continent, today (November 25, 2024), he gave a slightly more detailed answer.

The streamer hasn’t officially announced any dates but suggested that the tour is coming very soon. Speaking about his plans to go the continent, he said:

“(Asked by a viewer) ‘Speed, is the Africa tour coming soon?’ Yes, we are just, we’re just, yes. The Africa tour is coming very soon actually. And that’s going to be one hell of a tour, chat.”

Africa has a total of 54 countries, which means that any possible tour would take weeks to complete. IShowSpeed has said that his Africa tour would go on for about a month or so. He said:

“We are going to probably be in Africa for like a month. A full month. Because Africa is so big, we have to travel. It’s going to be a lot.”

What Are Some Of IShowSpeed’s Past IRL Tours?

IShowSpeed has recently been nominated for the Best IRL Streamer Award at the upcoming Streamer Awards 2024. This recognition comes as no surprise, given his record-breaking streams in the IRL category throughout 2024.

IShowSpeed has been traveling extensively even before 2024, visiting countries like India. In January 2024, he toured Brazil, a trip that went viral for various reasons. Notably, he became the target of a kidnapping prank orchestrated by fellow YouTuber Arab during his time there.

In June and July 2024, IShowSpeed toured several countries across Europe during his trip to watch the UEFA Euros 2024. Among his streams, the one in Norway gained the most attention, as he was infamously blocked from leaving a store by a mob of fans.

IShowSpeed’s streams in Southeast Asia were his most viral in terms of viewership. By the end of his tour in September 2024, he had gained over 3 million subscribers. Notably, his stream in Indonesia reached over 1 million peak viewers, making it the most-watched stream of his career. Speaking about his stream there, he wrote:

“I LOVE YALL INDONESIA MY BIGGEST STREAM EVER.”

As mentioned earlier, IShowSpeed is currently touring Australia and New Zealand. His trip has been highly successful, featuring street streams and collaborations with various athletes.
