Are you stuck in the Tachov region? Don’t worry, this article will walk you through the entire Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Hermit Quest.

So you are in Tachov, and the game has asked you to find your way into the wedding in the Tachov region. You can achieve your goal by asking the Blacksmith in Tachov to help you. The Hermit is the last quest in this questline. And once you have completed it, you will finally find a way to get into the wedding and progress through the Wedding Crashers storyline.
The Hermit is a pretty typical KCD 2 quest, and we are sure that you will find similarities with other quests while playing it. The quest is quite long, and we will have to do a lot of traveling and talking to get through it, and players can get a bit confused sometimes while doing it. So with that in mind, in this article, we will walk you through the entire Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: The Hermit Quest.
The Hermit Quest Guide

To summarise, the blacksmith Radovan wants to make a blade that will never bend, but he needs Damascus Steel to do it. Additionally, he will tell you that he is missing the materials needed for the job, and in true RPG fashion, he will ask you to go and collect it from a Hermit who lives in the woods of Apollonia.
The blacksmith Radovan will tell us that some women in Troskowitz might know the location of the Hermit. Now, you need to go to the tavern near the blacksmith and talk to the innkeeper Betty there. Betty might want to interest you with other side quests, but we are going to ignore that for now. Choose the I Need Information About The Hermit dialog option to initiate the proper conversation.
After you have said your line, Betty will tell you that some men armed with knives came to the inn looking for the Hermit recently as well. Then the location of your next objective will be marked on your map. Now, open your map, and you will notice that the marker is in the forest northeast of Troskowitz. You can find the Hermit’s hut on the west side of the search area, which is covered by a yellow circle. He will refuse to talk to you, but we will find other ways of achieving our goal.
The Hermit

The Hermit has a journal with him named the Diary of Knight Konrad. You will need it to progress through the quest, so you can either pickpocket him or kill him. If you want to do this non-violently, then pickpocketing him while he sleeps would be the ideal way. Once you have grabbed the diary one way or another, open and read it; it should be in the Lore Books section in your inventory. We will find out that the Hermit we met is not the real hermit, and the real one is buried somewhere else through the diary.
You can just skip all the pages to get to the next objective marker. Now that we know the truth, we must go to the grave of the real Hermit. After you have reached the marker, you will find the grave in the middle of the search area, under a beech tree. Additionally, you won’t have to dig his grave, and you can just take Ambrose’s broken sword to the blacksmith.
Forge the Sword

Tell the blacksmith that you have the sword, and he will ask you to forge it yourself. Keep in mind that you will need one Frankfurt steel and two Scrap Metal to make it. You know what to do next, interact with the anvil and choose the recipe for the sword from the Longsword section. Once done, you will forge The Toledo Steel Sword. Now, choose the I Forged The Sword dialogue option and give it to the blacksmith. You will bring the sword to the wedding if you have not been to it yet. But if you have visited the wedding already, then you will take the sword to Tomcat instead.
You will be able to find Tomcat southwest of the map, in the Nomad’s Camp. Give him the sword by telling him that The Blacksmith Won The Bet. Tomcat will want to test the sword in combat. And no matter what you choose next, Henry will tell him that he forged the sword himself, and Tomcat will give you a reward that will mark the end of the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 The Hermit Quest.
